“Boyer L Ranch was absolutely beautiful! I truly enjoyed my stay here and I would recommend this place for anyone looking to get away. The ranch is approximately 8 miles from the main highway and takes you deep into the hills/country side. Then you come to this valley and there it is! It is right on the river and you can hear the water from the barn loft, even laying in bed with the windows open listening to the water. They have the grounds set up so you can take a nap in one of the many hammocks hung in the trees, or have a nice picnic or a fire at one of the fire pits. It is so peaceful, quiet and beautiful. The barn loft if nice and will fit a family well. There is a nice king bed and three twin beds, so there is plenty of sleeping room. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and there is a nice big stove for cooking. The bathroom is small but gets the job done just fine. There is a door next to the bathroom that literally leads to nothing, it opens and there is about a 10 foot drop to the ground. Our dog decided to take a leap out of this while we were looking out, which was scary but he was fine. I would definitely suggest if you have kids, be very careful with this door, it is very dangerous. We did bring our dog and we just coordinated with the owners when we needed to take him out for walks/potty as their dog doesn't always get along with other dogs, but she was super friendly with us. I was a little nervous about the whole COVID situation. We specifically wanted to stay at a place in WY so we wouldn't be required to wear masks and such. The owners did seem really worried and wanted us to wear masks when meeting, but it was only for the first five minutes and then we were good. We did have to strip beds and disinfect anything we touched, which didn't really seem like it had gotten the same treatment before we came, but that was fine with me. Overall, I would definitely come and stay here again. It was so beautiful and I really enjoyed it here.”
This newly renovated 1890's cabin sits along the banks of the Savery River. Sit outside on peaceful nights listening to the river. It is part of a 500+ acre family ranch with other cabins on the property. Fishing is available along the river. We also have hiking and mountain bike/gravel bike tracks on GPS and you literally leave straight from your door! Come unwind, lay in a hammock, or explore your wild at the Boyer YL Ranch open year-round.
“Very hard for me to write this as I would rather no one else know about this gem. The ranch is a place to get away from it all. If it wasn't for the wifi, this place would be perfection. Such a peaceful place to get away and enjoy a serene landscape with flowing river, wildlife and lush woods. One night here just isn't enough to enjoy it all. This is both a great romantic getaway and a spot for the family. Amenities are exactly the right amount, rustic, but with everything a person or family needs. Nothing is lacking for creature comforts. The ranch itself has that cute quirkiness of what used to be a large ranch operation, but now most of the machines and equipment are still and surrounded by grass. Walking along the river can create quite the adventure as wildlife abounds. Running into grouse, moose, deer or an occasional black bear provides many photo opportunities. We can't wait to go back.”

“We loved our stay. The cabin is in a beautiful, secluded location with a great porch and views of the mountains, about 35-40 mins to downtown Steamboat Springs. The decor, furniture, etc. is also genuinely cozy, elegant and cool - not the generic, soulless Airbnb aesthetic one often finds these days. Kitchen is nice, as is the BBQ. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!”
