La Carança, mountain house. Calm and nature!

Beautiful traditional mountain house of more than 100m2 in stone and completely renovated in 2020/2021. Perched at 1400m and facing south with a large garden full of flowers and a breathtaking view of the Têt valley, the Canigou and facing the Carança massifs . Fauna is omnipresent and easy to observe and many hiking and mountain biking trails start directly from the house. Llar enjoys a Mediterranean climate and is located halfway between the high Pyrenees and the sea.

Le linge (draps/serviettes) n'est pas fourni. Le logement est accessible très facilement car localisé à 2min à pied de la gare d'Ax les Thermes, il dispose également d'un parking gratuit. Situé au 3ème étage, avec ascenseur il offre une vue splendide sur l'Ariège et la montagne, sans vis à vis. Le centre d'Ax les Thermes est facilement accessible (10-15min à pied) par un chemin le long de l'Ariège. Le ménage doit être fait avant le départ. Casier à ski disponible.

I fell in love with this little piece of heaven. Magical in winter with the snow covering the cottage, but also in summer. I wanted to offer my guests a more modern atmosphere while preserving the vintage and "natural" aspect of the mountain. You'll feel right at home very quickly. The snow in winter can be intense, but the cottage remains easily accessible (car equipment for snow, mandatory in winter: tire socks/chains/or snow tires🛞)
