Villa holiday rentals in Scandicci

It is hard to find the superlatives to describe this absolutely wonderful villa. We spent 3 nights there with a group of 8 friends and really did not want to leave. The setting of the property is even more amazing than on the pictures: a shady terrace overlooking a beautiful garden with a pool in the middle, surrounded by lush hillsides and sweeping views of the valley beneath - all of this in complete calm, peace and quiet. Really, like in a dream. Moreover, the place is extremely well-equipped, with a separate BBQ room, pizza oven, changing rooms/towels/sunbeds for the pool area, extra-large fridge and full kitchen with all the modern amenities. Everything was spotless clean. You can also feel the attention to little details in all aspects of the villa. The location is quite remote, so better to come by car. Virginia and Daniela were super kind and delightful, + very easy to communicate with (they live in an attached house). They even offer dinner from locally grown food. Great stay!

Wonderful stay at the Villa among the vineyards in Panzano. Vicky, the host, is the owner of Le Fonti winery with the villa surrounded by their vineyards and olive groves. The view from the villa is absolutely stunning. The town of Panzano is very cute. We bought groceries at the Coop and made breakfast each morning, gathering in the cozy well equipped kitchen. There is a courtyard immediately outside the doors of the villa with a large table, and again amazing views. Our time in the villa was so relaxing! Though we went to several wineries, a highlight was a very personal tour of the winery, wine making process and wines by Vicky at Le Fonti. She spent time discussing/pouring the different wines, even bringing over the same wine from different years to show us the difference the weather/grape stress influences the final taste. Overall exactly what we wanted from a Tuscan experience and really enriched by an extremely friendly and knowledgeable host.

Laura was an amazing host and made sure we knew all the details of the house and was very responsive if we had a question. The house itself is gorgeous and so are the surroundings. Highly recommend staying here as a home base in the Tuscany area! We visited many surrounding cities as well as a winery 40 minutes south. We would also recommend the restaurant Nuevo Ranch right done the street! Wonderful!

A beautiful villa with exceptional views to the hills and valley. Various oudoor areas. Private location however close to sights and amenities. Cafes and restaurants not far however not walking distance, best accessed by own car. Electric bikes were available for sightseeing. Fantastic host, always responsive and helpful. Can warmly recommend.

Cristiana and Mauro were the most friendly hosts. They made us feel immediately comfortable and set us up for a great stay at their wonderful home, offering some fabulous nearby dinner recommendations, as well as directing us to local grocery stores, and train stations for easy day trips into Florence, etc. The farmhouse is beautiful and brimming with character throughout, offering spectacular views over Vicchio. The private swimming pool is bigger than the photos suggest, and not too deep - the kids loved it. The hot tub allows you to sit back and drink in the peaceful Tuscan views. The sauna was a great touch, which we enjoyed throughout our stay, along with the pool table/games room. The outdoor terrace is large and great for a BBQ. The road leading up to the house is a fun drive - we rented a 4x4 (highly recommended if you are planning to stay here) that made it relatively comfortable. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return as there is so much more to explore there!

The Lazy Oak Villa is everything we dreamed of and more for our honeymoon. The house is beautiful, well furnished and feels so homely and comfortable. The surroundings are simply stunning; the view from the house and pool never get old! Mario and Alessandro were super helpful, offering to help us book restaurants and vineyards if needed. Mario keeps to himself so still feels very private but is happy to help with anything and it was nice to see him around (with his cute little dog!) and know he was about if we needed anything. Couldn’t recommend the Lazy Oak Villa more, and we’re already talking about when we could come back!! Thank you Mario and Alessandro!

We loved our time at La Balza - such a picturesque, peaceful and relaxing stay! Alessandro and his parents were a pleasure to deal with and answered all of my questions very quickly. They were very hospitable and accommodating. The area surrounding Radda in Chianti is absolutely beautiful and we loved the easy access to so many different cities and small villages. Would definitely recommend. A+

This was the most magical place so spend a week in Chianti! The villa is exceptionally beautiful, and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The grounds were spectacular, with many things to do and different areas to sit and enjoy. My toddler especially loved picking strawberries from the small garden and collecting eggs from the chickens for breakfast. The hosts were lovely and helpful with any questions we had, and took great care of us. The town of Gaiole in Chianti is very close and with great restaurants and things to do. A perfect spot I can’t recommend highly enough!

Great accommodation, beautiful, peaceful surroundings and very warm hosts! We lacked nothing. We were here with 7 people for our training camp and had a fantastic time in the villa. It is really even more beautiful than we would have expected from the pictures. Surrounded by olive trees and only a handful of other houses, you can perfectly unwind - whether by the pool, in the garden or in the house itself. Zara and Mark are very accommodating and helpful. We immediately received an answer to every question and also a lot of helpful tips to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Zara showed us the surroundings on a short morning hike. We would never have found these places without them. We will be back for sure.

Our family vacation to Villa Berni in Bottai was phenomenal, and it all started with the accommodations. Alessandro's brother, Enrico, met us as planned and gave us a tour of the villa. As requested, they provided 2 cribs for our grandbabies. With 6 bdrms and 5 bath, each couple had their own space, and the babies had their own rooms too. It was conveniently located taking 20 minutes to the Florence city center and other local towns provided everything we needed. Our favorite part of the villa was the garden courtyard. We had morning coffees and evening cigars/drinks. A bonus was the tortoises which the babies loved finding each morning to feed them strawberries. Part of the family farm, Enrico gave us a tour of the olive grove and farm animals. He even staged eggs for the grands to collect. Our last night, we arranged pro chefs to prep an authentic Tuscany dinner. This kitchen met their needs, and we ate in the courtyard. We couldn't ask for more...Thanks for hosting us!

We had an amazing time in the villa from Tommaso. It has all the amenities that you expect from a villa in this price class. The view looking over the valley is beautiful. The communication with the host was very pleasant and swift. As an example; The existing tv got broken in the evening and the next morning Tomasso installed a new one with all the modern features like Apple Airplay. Since the weather was not great the first days you can imagine that this was very nice to have a good working tv. Anyone who is considering renting a villa in the surrounding of San Donato, I highly recommend this villa from Tommaso.

Most beautiful villa with so much charm! Fantastic location as well, easy to explore Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, as well as all the surrounding wineries and countryside. The villa was so lovely that we decided to spend 2 days in the villa, chilling at the pool drinking wine and having tapas! Janine is a great host with many recommendations of what to do in the local area. Highly recommended to stay here to experience Tuscany!

We've just returned from a fantastic 4 night stay at Gianmarco's lovely house. It's exactly as described. We visited as a family of 7 (5 adults and 2 very young children), the house catered for us perfectly. Lots of space, very clean, child friendly with all the right amenities and super peaceful. Gianmarco, his wife and their dog live on-site but we never heard from them unless we needed something or asked for advice - they were then super responsive. Gianmarco was very helpful and friendly in the build-up to our stay with local recommendations. We would return in a heartbeat. We used the house as a base to visit Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. A car is required to get around as the house is located in a semi-remote village (which has excellent shops and restaurants). Thanks so much Gianmarco!

David’s place embodies elegance and tranquility. Beautiful interior with intricate touches. The backyard was huge and our pup enjoyed running around on it. It’s as described in the pictures. David was also a very kind host. Responsive to our questions and insightful when it came down to recommendations. Highly recommend to anyone considering booking!

We booked the place for myself and my wife, my 2 daughters with thei husbands and my 4 grandchildren (aged 2 to 13) and their nunny. We all enjoyed our stay, we all felt we had privacy when we needed, and common areas to be all together. Excellent place for large families or parties. The host ready to answer all questions.

My family and I -- six adults and a 9 month old -- spent two delightful weeks at Il Granaio. Before our arrival, Greg (the host) put me in touch with Ally, the property manager, who provided much useful information in advance and ensured we could find our way to the hidden gem that is Il Granaio. Once we arrived, Ally was available as needed, responsive to my queries as we settled in. We enjoyed the Villa and property immensely, using it as a base camp as we did day trips all around Tuscany and a longer visit to the Ligurian coast. The house was comfortable, attractive, and well-outfitted, with fantastic views from the second floor; the surrounding countryside was peaceful and beautiful; the pool was a perfect place to cool off and relax after being out and about; and the billiard table provided enjoyment for all! And having our own washer and dryer was incredibly convenient, especially when traveling with a baby. Wonderful memories were made for our family at Il Granaio!

Staying in this villa in Tuscany was an absolute dream come true! The place is beautiful – surrounded by picturesque hills, full of peace and Italian charm. The villa itself is decorated with great taste, very clean, spacious and fully equipped – we did not miss anything. And the pool? A marvel! Perfect for relaxing with a view of the Tuscan landscapes, especially at sunset. The property are spectacular, with all the amenities, Anna is an excellent host, courteous, friendly and willing to help, we loved the property and enjoyed our stay very much. It is a place we recommend 100% and if we return to Italy we would love to stay there again. It's close to Florence and other cities in Tuscany. There are supermarkets 3 minutes from the property, as well as restaurants and everything you need for a wonderful stay.

This property exceeded our expectations with spectacular views and peaceful, natural surroundings! The host was friendly and responsive. The proximity to San Gimignano and other Tuscan destinations was convenient. Each day felt magical! Just sitting on the patio was amazing! An unforgettable destination and experience!

A beautiful home to base ourselves in while exploring Tuscany. Lovely country surrounds. House has everything you need, spacious. Gorgeous terraces and pool. Enjoyed Volterra, San Gimignano and Siena but always great to come back to our Tuscan home! Silvia gave fantastic recommendations - pasta making at Ristorante de Beppino and in house chef Beppe highlights. Also loved Monterosola winery tasting. Very highly recommend. One of the best!

We had an unforgettable stay at this villa for our bachelorette getaway! The host was incredibly responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. The views were absolutely breathtaking — even better than in the pictures! The villa had everything we needed to set the perfect atmosphere: fully stocked kitchen with plates and glasses, plenty of towels, and thoughtful details throughout. We loved picking fresh lemons from the garden and finding peaceful spots around the property to read and relax. It’s incredibly private and serene — the perfect escape. While the drive-up can be a bit tricky at first, it quickly becomes second nature and is well worth it.This place exceeded all of our expectations. Highly, highly recommend — we'd come back in a heartbeat!

This place is fabulous. Margherita was responsive so quickly. We had a 11 people six adults and five kids. Loved the pool and hot tub. Margherita made reservations for us and suggested day trips. She even got a wheelchair for me for the Hill towns. Take advantage of their cooking. they did meals for us, which were fantastic. And even organized a birthday dinner for the three young girls. They did the birthday cake and even gave them a gift. It was fabulous. Don’t hesitate to book. We did day trips to Sienna, pisa,Luca, panzano, pienza and multipulciano. And two trips to the luxury mall.!Her parents are so helpful too. Olive oil and their wine is fantastic. The only regret I have is that we didn’t have extra days and spend the time right around villa. I think we would have really enjoyed the wine tasting and olive tastings. I would’ve stayed easily another week. Do take advantage of her massages too. My kids thoroughly enjoyed our visit. It exceeded my expectations!!!!! Ten stars!!!!!!

Stefano is the most amazing host and his Villa is the best place to experience the Tuscan countryside! I planned a trip to Italy for myself and 7 other women. It was a massive undertaking and Stefano helped with every part. I honestly don’t think this girls trip would have happened if not for Stefano. He not only helped me book all our excursions and dinner reservations. He also picked us up from the airport and train stations. He truly went above and beyond! -The photos do NOT do this beautiful Airbnb justice! -I had a wonderful stay at Villa Colombai. I especially loved the private pool and our host went above and beyond -This property was even more beautiful in person than it looked in the photos—and that’s saying something. It felt like our own little hideaway, but was still an easy walk into town for coffee or dinner. The restaurant nearby is incredible (highly recommend making time for it), and Stefano was the most amazing host. He went above and beyond!
