Marieke and Den have created a surreal, warmly welcoming paradise. The place is even more beautiful than in the photos - spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and full of mindful, aesthetic details. The beauty lies not only in the decor but also in the little things: the carefully curated books, the wide variety of teas, and the fresh garden herbs available for use. We had contact with both Marieke and Den, and they radiate genuine kindness - while still giving you all the privacy you need. It’s a haven of peace, nature, and presence - the perfect place to find rest and reconnect with yourself. A true place of Zen.

We had a wonderful stay in this fantastically beautiful house in Eefde! The accommodation is not only super stylish and furnished with great attention to detail, but also incredibly cozy – you immediately feel at home. Everything was sparkling clean and perfectly prepared. Surrounded by fields, you really live in the middle of nature and can enjoy the absolute peace. Never before have I experienced an accommodation that was even more beautiful in real life than in the photos! We were particularly delighted by the loving, local welcome gifts such as fresh apple juice, beer and homemade jam - such a warm gesture! The hostess is very friendly, helpful and available at all times. For us, it was an all-around perfect experience, and we would come back anytime. Thank you Aljanneke! 🤗

It was great experience. The yurt was so cozy that we almost didn't see it. Just for the hot tub, how wonderful to stay in this with low outside temperatures! Beds were great, bring your own pillow and blankets. Also any extra blanket for when the stove goes out at night, for the rest the yurt can be heated warm very quickly! We'd love to come back.

Excellent guesthouse in a nice quiet location, near the Maas. There were several cottages on site. The house we rented had a private garden that was well screened. The courtyard was shared with everyone and there were some children's bikes. In the house itself, everything was very clean. There was plenty of space, plenty of equipment also in the kitchen. Too bad the piano didn't work (some keys broken and it was completely false!) In addition, it is also unfortunate that the hot tub in the garden is not included but that this is payable separately in cash.

Nice place, especially if the weather is right. Booking a hot tub is recommended, please note that the swimming pool opens from mid-May. Cottage is a bit noisy, something to take into account.

The property is super comfy and very well appointed. You could still move the HutTub outside for the ambience, but otherwise everything is very nice. Baarlo is certainly not Amsterdam, but you should not have the expectation when you book there. For our men's weekend, the house was so well equipped and provided so much space that we didn't miss any additional activities. We would come back.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay at Mijke's house. The hot pool and sauna were very nice and easy to warm up. The place was very clean and accurately described. We can only recommend it.

Amazing place if you appreciate peace and nature

I’m emotional about leaving this absolute treasure of a rental- wish we could stay forever. We booked Darley’s on the recommendation of well-traveled local friends who literally *moved* to Hilversum after staying here and told us it was the best Airbnb of all time. (These friends also know that I’m finicky about vacation rentals and generally prefer hotels.) I’m SO glad we listened to them. This is, without a doubt, the most beautiful, well-appointed, lavish, thoughtfully stocked, gorgeously furnished, comfortable Airbnb ever, and now I’m probably ruined for all others. It could have been half as incredible for twice the price - we’d still be delighted. I’ve never felt more at home while traveling. We had all the privacy, comfort, provisions, fresh flowers and fruit, random fun perks, great water pressure, immaculate cleanliness, inspiring corners, luxurious linens, and other copious supplies we didn’t know we needed. Thank you, Marielise, for the Airbnb experience of a lifetime. WOW.

The owner of the house is amazing. I’m very happy that I had the chance to meet such a wonderful person by accident. And not only her, but also other family members – they are all great people. In some way, I’m even glad that some things happened so we could talk more and get to know each other better. The place is also cozy and nice. We got to enjoy the big yard and the animals during the day. Thank you.

If you love peace and quiet and greenery, this is a wonderful place. It is nestled between the woods and fields, and the farm itself is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden. Me and my dog felt welcome and free. The cottage is comfortable and has everything you need.

Fast communication with the host, everything as described. convenient parking and road connection to other towns. Very well-equipped kitchen. complete equipment of the apartment.

Very nice house with great garden. We were here with a group of friends and were able to enjoy the area, also thanks to renting bikes through Joost. Also close to Den Bosch so everything was nearby. Absolutely recommended!

We were on a houseboat in Amsterdam for years, but the owner now lives there himself and no longer rents it out. So we looked for an alternative in the "little sister" Utrecht and ended up with Pauline and Raymond. The boat is in a suburb of Utrecht, but is easy to reach by bus (runs every 15 min) and is very nice in nature. There were four of us and we had plenty of space, we could sit well both below and on deck, the bathroom is huge for a houseboat, the beds are great, the kitchen is well equipped. The only downside for us was that we couldn't find a decent café or restaurant in Nieuwegein, but after all, we wanted to explore Utrecht, and the location is good for that. We liked it so much that we will probably go back soon. Many thanks to Pauline and Raymond!

We had a short break in the woods at Lucinda's gingerbread house. She was very communicative, thought of everything, and our kids felt right at home. All they wanted to do was trampoline and pick wild blueberries. I appreciated how much thought Lucinda put into her home and describing important things. Views from every window were green and full of life, and plenty of places to walk. Also the quietest bike paths I've ever been on were great for pushing the carriage to the next blueberry patch.

Lotte's house is simply perfect. Very close to Amsterdam and the airport, but still in a calm, quiet environment. The breakfast was always varied and very tasty. Our little boys loved the chickens. :) Lotte and her husband were incredibly sweet and helpful. We felt great, we would come back anytime! If I could, I would give 10 stars! :) Thank you for everything Lotte!

Great accommodation and great hosts. We had a lot of fun and felt comfortable. The accommodation was accessible by boat and we could go shopping by boat. It was a real adventure. The accommodation and the pool were clean. Everything was fine for us ☀️

A week to relax among the bustle of the birds. In rainy weather, there is plenty of space inside, and in good weather, a very pleasant garden to sit in. There is plenty to do in the area, and shops are close by. Everything is available for you to cook yourself. Baking pizza in the pizza oven was also fun to do. Definitely recommended. We felt at ease.

We were able to spend a relaxed weekend there and reach Venlo quickly and easily at any time, whether by car or taxi.

We enjoyed our days in the cottage very much! Very cozy accommodation with a beautiful sauna and wonderfully quiet nature all around!

We had a really nice time, it's locations is great, nice restaurants and a supermarket nearby, close to the Hoge Veluwe national park

The cottage is on a small-scale green park, where you can go with your dog. In fact, it was Pentecost weekend and I have never seen so many dogs. All of them are well-behaved and only friendly dogs. With a few minutes' walk, you are in the forest, where - in some places - the dog can also go off the line. There is also a communal swimming pool that you can use. The cottage is comfortable, the bed is good and also in a nice place where you have no view. Communication with the hostess, Jacq, is perfect. She responds immediately to any question. Great mix between a very livable place to stay and a bucket list experience. Easy to cook, quiet nights, cozy! We stayed 10 days and enjoyed Utrecht as our NL base. Responsive and nice host, who has great info and recommendations in her guest book. Easy (25-min walk) to get to the historic center. Host also provided 2 city bikes, making it so easy to get around. We came by car but didn't need to use it due to walkability of everything. Houseboat is very well designed - it's small but there is organized and efficient space for everything you might need, without sacrificing hominess. Woodstove with plenty of wood and the huge windows overlooking the water make for a very serene stay. We're full time travelers by car in EU/UK/Balkans for over 4 years
