Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

Vacation home at the spa park

Our apartment is located directly at the spa park in Bad Schandau. There are numerous restaurants, supermarkets, the Toskanatherme, the Kirnitzschtalbahn, the historic Sendig lift or, for example, the National Park Center in the immediate vicinity. Directly from the property you can hike to the Schrammsteine, the Kohlbornstein or the Rathmannsdorfer lookout tower. All other highlights of Saxon and Bohemian Switzerland can be reached quickly by car or public transport.

The apartment is ideal for hikers, climbers, cyclists, motorcyclists and families. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a quiet, beautiful vacation. Around the house is a large garden with access to the stream. Our house is located in the middle of the forest in a secluded location. You can reach all the sights by public transport or you can reach Bad Schandau with the Kirnitzschtalbahn. Plus tourist tax. No Wi-Fi at the moment

Beautiful little apartment for the outdoors lovers

Come to our apartment in Labské pískovce. It is located in the middle of the largest sandstone canyon in Europe in Dolní Žleb. Elbe sandstones are one of the most beautiful climbing areas in our country. Mountain climbers, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers will find something to do here. Five kilometers from us is Hřensko, the entrance station to Pravčická brána. You can go to Děčín for culture and entertainment by bike, train or car.

Wildly romantic and cozy by the rushing stream. A special overnight stay, suitable for 2 people. The apartment is located in the ambience of the Rathewalder Mühle, right next to the bastion and directly adjacent to the core zone of the Saxon Switzerland National Park. The famous Malerweg leads right past. Ideal for excursions to the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, but also to the surroundings of Pirna and Dresden.

Enjoy the perfect connection to the national park, public transport and the Elbe cycle path from this apartment. You can reach, for example, the Schrammstein view on foot, the Bastei directly by train and the Felstor Kuhstall by ferry and Kirnitztalbahn. With the ferry Krippen you can relax and get to the other side of the Elbe and to the city center of Bad Schandau (Elbkai) free of charge (guest card).

Our shepherd's wagon is located on our Kraxlerhof, in the middle of Saxon Switzerland overlooking the Ochelwände. With a lot of love, we have now completed our shepherd's wagon at the end of July 2022 for up to two people. All hiking destinations are easily accessible from our farm. We are happy to give you interesting excursion tips around the hiking region of Saxon Switzerland.
