The Hirschbaude is located in Saxon Switzerland, directly in the Kirnitzschtal. You will spend the night in a small hut in the middle of the wildly romantic hillside garden. After your excursions, enjoy the magical evening atmosphere with a campfire or barbecue or warm up in front of the fireplace on cold. Important: There are two (very lovely) free-roaming dogs Ronja+Mary Rose, 2 cats, rabbits and ducks. The accommodation and access isnot barrier-free. A tourist tax must be paid upon arrival.

Just relax and unwind: The open-plan living and dining area offers a cosy atmosphere for cooking and enjoying in the kitchen, looking into the fire of the cast-iron stove or reading a good book in the cosy reading bunk. With a far-reaching view of rocks and forests, you can dream of the next hikes in the large double bed under the roof. After long tours, your tired feet can recover under the starry sky in the warm hot tub or in the log sauna.

The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. The main living area is facing the front of the house and therefor you will find a view on the town square, town house and the famous basalt rock “Jehla”.

The apartment is centrally located and quiet with a view of Sebnitz. The market and shopping facilities are within walking distance in about 7 minutes. Sebnitz is a very good starting point for exploring Bohemian and rear Saxon Switzerland. This can be done on foot or by bike. Also for those who would like to use their mountain bike. Other beautiful and well-known places are Dresden 50 km, Pirna 35 km and Bad Schandau 15 km away.

Surrounded by numerous hiking trails and cycling routes, you can start directly from the property. Day trips by car can be made to Dresden, Bautzen or Prague. You will find a large and spacious apartment that leaves nothing to be desired. And if something is missing, we'll be happy to take care of it.
