We had the most amazing stay at this Donner Lake/Truckee gem! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip—plenty of towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and even ping pong and a hot tub. for the. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, but still close to downtown Truckee and all the outdoor adventures. We went hiking, shopping, and spent the day at West End Beach which is a 10 min drive . The hosts were super kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. Highly recommend for families, people with pets (we brought our dog), or anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of the Sierra Nevadas. We can’t wait to come back!

The home was beautiful and clean. There was a plumbing issue that was happening upon our arrival to the home and there was a very bad very strong odor. They had a plumber come and fix the issue, but the plumber told us this had happened before about a month prior at this home. I would recommend updating the property photos to not include the kayaks/ boats. While not listed in the rental some of our guests were eager to use them, but were disappointed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, and the showers had good water pressure. If the retaining wall issue is ever fixed we would consider staying again. Overall we had a great stay.

The house was well put together and all amenities were nice and clean. Ken was very responsive and helpful with any questions or recommendations. Beautiful home and neighborhood with friendly neighbors were encountered on our walks. I would highly recommend this spot for a large group or small depending on what type of visit you are looking for. There are shops and restaurants near by which was nice to be able to enjoy in addition to the house and amenities. I would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa del Sol. It was a peaceful neighborhood close to beautiful trails but not far from Truckee and amenities. The house was super well maintained and clean with a desk set-up so I could work and fast internet! We loved the deck and natural light pouring into the home. Thank you for a great stay!

We had a fantastic stay at this property! The host was incredibly communicative from the start and full of helpful information and tips that made our trip even smoother. The house was absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the nature. Everything was spotless, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged with convenience in mind. We would absolutely recommend this place and hope to return in the future!

Really beautiful and comfortable home, well stocked kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and super comfortable bed. Wi-fi worked great which was surprising given how remote it is. There's a little loop for a quick walk but if you want to find some places to hike you have to leave the area though there are lots of options nearby. I also wasn't ready for how intense the mosquitos were so make sure you bring repellent!

Ada's and Robert's house was exactly what we were looking for on a ski vacation. Well designed, stylish, cozy and beautiful. Ada and Robert communicated very well. We will definitely see if this house is available next time we visit Tahoe!

Really beautiful view! Cute area with restaurants within a 10 min driving distance. A lot of cleaning instructions - washing dishes, taking out trash, washing linens and one of the beds had no pillow cases. Other than that, I would stay again

Tracy is an incredible host! The unit and the amenities provided matched the description and was very clean. I really appreciate the attention to detail when it came to utensils and convenience, specifically the coffee machine and pots and pans that were provided as I was able to enjoy some coffee and cook many meals during my visit. She was also nice enough to provide a binder with activities to do during the winter/summer and local restaurants. I didn’t experience too much noise coming from the main road but earplugs were provided, just in case. Overall, it’s a great location and would definitely stay here again!

Great visit, would definitely stay here again. Easy check-in at the front desk. Convenient covered parking garage, great for the winter. Excellent location with easy access to the resort with lots of restaurants. Quick walk to a ski-in/out area behind the complex. There was also a nice gym, pool, spa, etc inside the complex. We had an amazing stay at the Studio Chalet. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The location couldn’t be better. We were right on the lake and close to kayaking, restaurants, and bike trails. Whether we were out exploring or simply enjoying a quiet morning coffee on the deck with lake views, every moment felt special. Our host was incredibly friendly and responsive, providing great local recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable Lake Tahoe escape!

We loved our stay at The Nest. We flew in for a music festival and didn’t bring our usual gear. Carol was very helpful and loaned us whatever we needed. She’s a wonderful host and her place is cozy and adorable!

5 Stars – A Perfect Lake Tahoe Stay I stayed at this cozy condo in Tahoe Vista for five nights and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is incredible—right across the street from the North Shore of Lake Tahoe and just a five-minute walk to the water. The space was clean, quiet, and peaceful, with a perfectly equipped little kitchen that had everything I needed. Communication with the hosts was smooth and responsive from start to finish. This spot felt like a true retreat, and it’s absolutely a place I’ll be returning to. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Eric’s place while in the area for a wedding. The spot is conviently located near downtown Truckee while still being tucked away in a quiet part of the Donner ski resort. Eric was very accomodating of requested check in/out timing due to our wedding events, which made our stay all the more simplified.

Nice, cozy space that had everything we needed. We were there off-season and so it felt a bit isolated as we seemed to be the only people in the building. Also, the snow pack was so high there was almost no light coming through the window, though that couldn't be helped!

Richard was a fantastic host and very responsive when questions arose. He also had great recommendations for restaurants/things to do. The location was exactly what we were hoping for. Across the street from the air bnb was a private beach area with lounge chairs that felt private/secluded. 10/10 would recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our quick overnight stay! The location is 10/10, very accessible and close to Tahoe Donner adventure center. The host, Dani, was extremely communicative and gave us recommendations for snowshoeing. The condo was very clean and comfortable - wish we would have been able to check out slightly later so we could enjoy it more! Would definitely book again :)

Will definitely be a repeat guest! Access instructions were clear, the space was just as described and absolutely perfect for two people. Hand soap, dish soap, sponge and shower liquids provided. The space gets direct morning sun and gets stuffy quickly, but airflow with the open windows remedies that in a jiffy, and a box fan is in the closet! The only hiccup was the tv. No audio cable for the dvd player. There were some tv channels, but the night before checkout, every channel was blanked out and unavailable, so we couldn’t enjoy shows before bed or our breakfast and tv before checkout. A relatively small snafu in such a beautiful place, but will plan for a laptop with downloaded content next time as the internet is too slow to stream (as described in the listing). Private beach and pier across the street were perfect for taking photos of the Milky Way. Thank you, Carol Ann. We can’t wait to stay again!

We had an amazing stay at this cozy condo in Truckee! The place was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were super comfy, and the fireplace made it extra cozy after a day in the snow.

Cory's cute condo is at a perfect location. It is ideal for a family who are looking for proximity to snow activities as well as beautiful nature. You can literally crawl to the skiing slopes. Our kids enjoyed the bunk bed, games and the balcony overlooking skiing slopes. We definitely would love to visit again.

We had a great stay at David's condo. It's exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and a nice layout for a group with bedrooms in the lower level and the group area upstairs. The beds are very comfortable and the place is well appointed. We were skiing at Sugarbowl, which was very close. Parking was easy, and there's a great restaurant nearby. There were 4 of us so we did not have to use the loft; if you do need those accommodations be aware that there's a narrow ladder to climb up.
