Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sevenoaks District

We stayed here for a week during our cycling trip in Kent and East Sussex. What a great choice! A perfect starting point for beautiful walks and cycling day trips. Also a very quiet and pretty environment to relax. A wonderful courtyard with stunning climbing rose bushes and verbena. Sheep, cattle, chickens and koy fish around, and of course the dogs. The cottage is spacious and has everything you need. It is one of the very few holiday homes we've been with a perfect shower, high quality kitchen equipment, good quality pots and pans in all sizes and numbers, really sharp knives etc. And if you still miss anything, just ask James. We were happy with the provided essential breakfast stuff on arrival. And flowers. James, a perfect host who made us feel very welcome.

Wow. Staying at Taylour House was like stepping back in time - in the best possible way. The house is steeped in history and beautifully preserved, full of character and charm. It felt like staying in a living museum, but with all the modern comforts thoughtfully in place. Caroline, the host, was absolutely wonderful - friendly, welcoming, and incredibly flexible, which made the whole experience relaxed and easy. The house was spotless, extremely well equipped, and exceeded our expectations in every way. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Edenbridge, with a great pub directly opposite that serves top-notch Sunday roasts. A rare bonus was having off-street parking for two cars - a real luxury for a town centre property. Taylour House is a gem. Full of history, excellent value, and hosted with genuine warmth - we’d love to come back.

Greg’s place is a favorite indeed. It’s walking distance from all the places to eat and drink at. Greg’s always available and wonderful to speak with. Second stay in 4 months and looking to come back again soon.

The perfect place for any event with family and friends to relax and enjoy the chilled atmosphere with easy access to all facilities in the area. The host of Cantwara was outstandingly welcoming throughout our stay so I would recommend to anyone planning a staycation in the near future and beyond.

Spent 6 pleasant days at Littleshaw Cottage. Although we went in June the evenings were chilly but the underfloor heating in the cottage kept us warm. All the things we needed, and more, for a comfortable stay were provided. We felt very secure in the cottage as it is in the private grounds of the main house behind a gated driveway. This was our first visit to Kent and there is so much to see. If we returned for another holiday we would like to stay here again.

A beautiful stay! the house had everything you need and more, lovely and clean, beds where comfy. And the view is amazing even seen some deers bouncing about one morning, Look forward to staying again

Lovely cottage and location. very well positioned to access West Kent area and London. The garden was beautiful and very relaxing space to enjoy a summer drink. Highly recommend.

Hi Tom, It was a pleasure to stay at your place over the last few days. Everything was as described and many thanks for the extensive information on food recommendations and the surrounding area. It was so wonderful waking up to the fantastic views across the sea. The accommodation was just as described and we had a lovely time.

Everything was perfect for what we needed.

A nice little place where we could spend a month between house moves. John was helpful, and met us at the location. The flat was clean, and everything was as described. The flat is in a relatively secluded place as expected, but there was a bit more traffic noise than expected, as it is right on the corner of a crossroads.

We had a wonderful stay at Anastasiya's, the property is Lovely, Unique & Comfortable - as well as having a place to park, which isn't always easy around London. She's a Kind, Attentive, Interactive, Proactive, Considerate & Responsive Host, kept us well informed and she was always happy to help if we needed it. It feels like a home away from home, we'd recommend and fully intend to return. ☺️

I needed a place on short notice after my original plans fell through. I reached out to Lisa to request an earlier check-in and a later check-out, since I was coming from another apartment and had a late-night flight. She responded within minutes and did her best to accommodate me based on her other bookings, which I truly appreciated. The apartment looks exactly like the photos and is well equipped, I didn’t miss being at home at all. The location is fairly easy to navigate whether you’re using the bus, Uber, driving, or even walking. If you're up for it, it’s about an hour's walk to the main shopping and supermarket areas. As a coffee lover, I also appreciated the thoughtful touch from Lisa’s husband, who made sure we had coffee and a French press. The only downside, which may not be an issue for everyone, was the sound of footsteps and movement from the apartment above something I noticed as a light sleeper. Overall, a positive and comfortable stay!

What a perfect getaway spot. We wished we had booked a longer stay! Alison has thought of everything to create a welcoming, stylish and comfortable experience inside and out! Highlights were strolling to the pretty pond area, private fire-pit area, blissfully comfy beds, views of fields and beautiful gardens. Added bonus was the on-site blacksmith’s traditional forge run by Alison’s son and husband!! Highly recommended. Thank you Alison!
