Monthly Rentals in Shalcombe

We had a lovely stay at Carriers Stable. It's at the end of the host's front garden, so we had a warm welcome when we arrived, they let us in and showed us where everything was. The advantage of them being on site is that they were right there when we had a couple of queries during the week - one about the broadband connection and another about a light bulb needing replacement. They were extremely helpful. The property is immaculately clean, looks just like the photos and has all of the amenities listed. It is located next to a very quiet lane which has little traffic, and you are more likely to notice the birdsong than any road noise. Brighstone is the ideal location if, like us, you prefer the western side of the island, and the cottage is perfect if there are just two of you. We thoroughly enjoyed our week there and would certainly recommend it and plan to book again ourselves the next time we go to the island.

A lovely stay at Dapple Cottage with our 2 year old daughter. Our first time in IOW and we will surely be returning! Mike's cottage was a lovely, clean, kitchen fully stocked, comfortable beds, Mike provided a cot for our daughter and the garden area had a lovely play set/slide and sunken trampoline that was a nice touch. Mike was very responsive to messages, provided information details and recommendations before we arrived and also provided discount codes for the Ferry booking too. Nice location to stay in close to some of the key places we wanted to visit.

Louise Gemma was a very friendly and respectful host and even though the property was attached to their house, it didn’t feel like it which is different to other air bnb’s I’ve stayed at. No noise or anything but knew Louise Gemma was there if needed. Very clean and well presented property with all of the amenities listed on the page. Comfy, cosy and the perfect peaceful getaway. Would definitely stay again! :)
