This second story space located minutes from downtown, Parkview and PFW still sits on a quiet 2 acre lot. The built in shelves, drawers, chef's kitchen, designated work area and ample closet space make it ideal for a longer term rental. The bedroom has a queen bed. The pull out sofa provides another queen sleep space. This is a pet free/smoke free environment.

The General's Quarters

Welcome to your home away from home! The General's quarters is a flat in vibrant and growing Northwest Ohio. Centrally located near the conveniences of the northside of Defiance near the College, restaurants, and shops. Also just off of US 24 which puts you in some great larger cities with just a short drive. Themed with the rich history of how Defiance came to be through General Anthony Wayne's defiance of the "English, Indians and all the Demons of Hell" shortly after the Revolutionary War.

Only 5 minutes from shopping, parks, trails, restaurants, library and 15 minutes from downtown. Enjoy park-like setting, use of pool during Summer (shared), and large yard. 2nd bedroom available for add'l $. We will rotate pool use if other guests are here. No pool parties. The Suite is a private apartment with a private entry located within the owners home - there is no kitchen there is a small fridge, micro, coffee maker. Enjoy this peaceful country setting within 3 miles of the mall, Defiance College, Downtown Defiance, ProMedica Hospital, fast food, and more formal dining. While relaxing on the swing at the pond you may see deer, raccoon, blue heron, and turkey, or you could choose to sit at the waterfalls from April to November. Walking distance to winery, brewery, coffee shop, historic restaurant and bar, and quaint downtown businesses and shops. The Armory also hosts an art gallery, event space, and hair salon.

Walden Cottage

We are accepting guests for short terms stays of up to a week. We are flexible and could extend this for possibly two weeks, but we also want our apartment available for our family and friends. We are new grandparents and want to be able to host our family and friends throughout the year.
