Great host, easy to access and beautiful view

Beautiful traditional Japanese style home with a private onsen. Located just outside town, surrounded by forest.

There were no other houses around, and I really relaxed without worrying about anyone else! I was surprised by the existence of a treehouse.We had a pleasant time eating breakfast and tea at the treehouse. We'd love to visit!

I was traveling with pets. We had a very good time with the atmosphere of the room, the grass garden, the kitchen, and the amenities around the washroom. The bath is compact because it is a shower booth.If you want to take a large bath, it may be a good idea because there is a nearby hot spring, but we are with dogs, so we give up. Next time, I want to take more time to stay.

This is a beautifully renovated villa in the woods near Kita-Karuizawa Prince Land.The furniture and equipment were also new, and I felt like I was in a rich person's villa. This building was very nice because the four bedrooms on the second floor were completely independent, so privacy was protected.If you are coming with multiple couples, I think separate bedrooms are a must. I slept in the main bedroom, but when I woke up in the morning, I saw the trees outside and had a wonderful experience as if I had slept in the forest. The barbecue area in the garden has a roof, so you can enjoy a barbecue without worrying about sudden rain.The equipment was new and good. Also, the fireplace in the living room has a real flame.After the barbecue, it was the best experience to drink whiskey while watching the flames of the fireplace in the living room. Another wonderful thing was the bathtub with a large window, which made you feel as if you were bathing in the forest.I took a bath during the day, and I was very impressed by the view outside, surrounded by the trees of the forest.We recommend that guests of this inn take a bath during the day when they can see the scenery outside.The bathtub was very large, and it was a size that could comfortably accommodate one adult and two children.You can enjoy bathing with your family. The host Nahoko kindly introduced us to nearby spots and restaurants.Asama Ranch and Toy Kingdom, which can be enjoyed by families, are nearby, making it a great place for those with children. It can accommodate 3 cars, so it is recommended for multiple families. It was a lovely villa that I would like to stay in again in the summer.

Everything was as pictured, and the host responded quickly and had a great stay.The room was warm and we had a comfortable stay.Thank you very much!I was concerned that the bath was very cold, the water pressure in the shower was weak, and the smell of sewage was slightly up.We decided to go to the hot springs, so there was no problem, but please refer to those who stay in the future.(There is floor heating in the dressing room, but it was too cold in the winter.I don't think it's a problem in the summer!)

We rented the Forest Villa for a family vacation, and it was perfect for everyone from the kids to the grandparents. The house was lovely, and had a well set up kitchen, karaoke set up, washer and dryer, and best of all a huge bath where you could soak and look out at the trees. Peaceful and fun!

Used by a family of 4 with a dog.The grounds were large, so it was perfect for playing with the dog! It was especially nice because there are few places to stay with large dogs.

It was a pleasant stay.

I searched for a place where I could stay with my dog, the BBQ, the bonfire, and the sauna, but it was everything, and the price was satisfactory.All facilities are new and clean. It was also equipped with a dog run, and the dog seemed to have fun. In the BBQ facilities, there was a charcoal starter, making it easy to make a fire. The fire pit can also be done with Coleman's large items with peace of mind. I would like to visit again.

We have been looking forward to this trip for some time. On the way, one of our dogs became ill and Fukuda san kept in touch to ensure that we arrived safely. His wife even made sure that our veterinarian visit went smoothly personally. You cannot ask for a better host who make you feel welcomed and treat you like family. We had to cut our stay short but Fukuda san again proactively helped us by adjusting our stay. We will remember your kindness forever. We don’t know how to thank you. We will definitely be back, not only to stay at the dog and dog lovers paradise but also to visit with dear dear friends!

Our stay in this beautifully designed Airbnb was fantastic. The attention to detail, especially the stunning doors, made the space feel warm and welcoming. The house was easy to heat, though the kerosene smell took a bit of getting used to. A car is definitely recommended. While centrally located, it’s about a 3 km walk to the Akakura restaurant area. Driving made accessing the slopes and dining spots much easier. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm, ensuring great sleep. The small kitchen was well-equipped—we made noodle stir-frys, salmon poke bowls, pancakes, and scrambled eggs with ease. Overall, this was a super comfortable stay, and we’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Myoko Kogen. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

The exterior and the villa were very clean, beautiful, and lovely! It was very kind and helpful even when I needed help. The snow in winter is also beautiful, but it seems to be cool in the summer, so I definitely want to go again! It was the most satisfying thing so far, so please try it!

The Nest was a bijou, cosy place to stay. The studio is centrally placed in Togari and had everything we required for a 3 day stay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom super clean with a good shower. The surrounding mountains offer lots of skiing opportunities. Togari itself had some good wide pistes. We didn’t try the other resorts. Togari offered a few good restaurants - we had an excellent Thai meal. We went to Nozawa by car and enjoyed a lovely evening exploring the apres ski. Beware::: restaurants tend to stop serving early. ! Everyone working in the resort was friendly and super helpful. Lianne and Sam ensured that we had a very comfortable stay. Thank you again

The house was beautiful - we loved the design and the wonderful homely touches. Everything was very thoughtfully curated from the charcoal BBQ to the fairy lights welcoming us on arrival. Everything was spotless and we really appreciated that the house was dog friendly and our pup had a lovely time playing outside. Tsumagoi itself is quiet so one must be prepared to be a bit removed and to simply enjoy all the glorious nature. It was a good option to explore Karuizawa and Kusatsu onsen for anyone who’s willing to drive some stunning country roads.

Very nice tiny home with parking! Quiet in the spring and walking distance to some good restaurants. Can imagine being a great location in the winter!
