Beth was a great host!! We bought nice eggs from her. The location was very peaceful with birds singing and view towards the sheep and lambs. We would be glad to return to this lovely area. Thank you for everything Beth!!

Compact and well designed place to stay above a terraced garden, with views across to the downs. Plenty of wildlife and birds. I heard foxes and owls and saw bats catching moths at twilight.

Lovely place to stay and a lovely host! Spotless, modern and with everthing we needed! Comfy inside, Nice little outdoor space too. Very short drive to Westonbirt (we visited for 'Forest Live') and convenient for other places, lovely pub nearby, and Kate lives right next door if you need her help with anything. Can't fault it! Nice touches, milk in the fridge and cookies in the cupboard :-) Make sure to get the instructions for the check in and directions before you arrive, as mobile reception in the village - same as most of the Cotswolds in my experience - is limited, although once you are in, the wifi is fine if that sort of thing is important to you!

A super base while working at Badminton Horse Trials. Very peaceful and beautiful, and only twenty minutes from the event. Gil was away during my stay but couldn’t have been more helpful and kind. A couple of notes — bring shower gel and shampoo, as there isn’t any in the bathroom. Likewise there wasn’t coffee in the jar but I imagine this is usually restocked! WiFi is patchy, so if you’re on a work trip, just be aware that you won’t be able to do big uploads at the cottage — it intermittently went down entirely but as I finished my work at the event each day it was okay for me.
