Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval

Very comfortable, well appointed chalet for two. A little removed from town (a drive rather than a walk) but the most stunning views across the valley (and Mt Blanc at the end of the driveway). Hubert was a welcoming and kind host and spoke very good English. We hope to return.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The Lemon Pit was amazing. The design is so cool and efficient. The hot tub was a huge hit, he even provided crocs to wear to the hot tub. Will was very responsive and provided a guidebook for the home and area right upon booking so I had time to review before arrival. He was flexible with check in and check out. The area was quiet and the view was spectacular. The walk into town is steep, but definitely manageable. We rented bikes and took advantage of the great bike lanes. A lot of fun. I have stayed in dozens of airbnbs and this one ranks at the top. Really great house.

Maria et Jean Marc sont des personnes accueillantes, très sympathiques et discrètes qui vous fait tout de suite vous sentir comme chez vous . La petite maison est très confortable avec tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un bon séjour et de plus le quartier est très calme. Ce fut un vrai plaisir pour moi d'y avoir séjourné.

السكن في مونترو كان جميل جدًا من جميع النواحي. تصميم المنزل راقي والمكان نظيف ومرتب ويوحي بالراحة. الإطلالة مميزة والموقع هادئ. كل شيء في السكن مرتب ومجهز بشكل ممتاز. المضيفة كلاوديا كانت متعاونة جدًا، تواصلها سريع وتعاملها محترم. كانت إقامة مريحة وجميلة، وأوصي بهذا السكن لمن يخطط للزيارة.

Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique dans le chalet d’Armelle et Sébastien. Belle décoration, confort, tout l’équipement cuisine nécessaire et une vue incroyable du lac. On traverse la route et nous voilà tout au bord du lac où un chemin piéton/ cycliste nous permet de faire de super promenades .

Die Unterkunft war super sauber und der Whirlpool mit dem Ausblick war überwältigend! Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich. Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt!

Petit bijou dans un cadre magnifique. Je recommande à tous ceux qui cherchent un séjour au calme à la montagne.

Die Unterkunft ist eine wunderschöne kleine Wohnung mit direktem Blick auf den Genfer See. Hier hat man die Ruhe, die man sich wünscht, ist aber auch nur einen Katzensprung von vielen Ausflugsorten (Lausanne, Montreux, Vevey) entfernt. Dass der ÖPNV kostenlos genutzt werden kann, ist großartig. Der Ort eignet sich auch perfekt, um eine Wanderung durch die Weinberge von Lavaux zu unternehmen. Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden und können die Unterkunft jedem nur empfehlen. Die Küche ist klein, aber viele Küchengeräte können bei Bedarf aufgestellt werden (kleiner Backofen, mobile Herdplatte, Kaffeemaschine, Wasserkocher). Für zwei Personen absolut ausreichend und sehr gemütlich. Das einzige Manko: Die Handtücher und Bettwäsche hatten leider einen recht muffigen Geruch. Wahrscheinlich wurden diese nach der Wäsche nicht richtig getrocknet, sondern halb nass verstaut. Unsere Nachbarn waren leider nachts etwas laut und haben uns durch die Lautstärke geweckt. Sonst alles bestens.

Bon accueil, échange fluide. Soucieux du bien être de ses locataires. Merci pour ce beau et bon we. Je recommande vivement ce logement !

Un bon week-end chez Vincent !! Le logement est conforme à la description, agréable et fonctionnel avec un joli petit balcon offrant une belle vue sur la nature et les montagnes.

Excellent place, excellent host. Although this is the bottom portion of the house where the host lives, it felt like we were in our own home, it was perfect. Would book again if visiting!

Nous sommes venu 2 nuits avec un enfant de 4 ans qui a dormi sur le canapé lit, notre hôte a même préparé le lit avant notre arrivé. Super ! Avec vu sur le mont blanc du balcon. Au top ! Belle cuisine très bien équipé en électroménager, belle déco et même des jeux des sociétés à disposition au cas où ! Ça donne envie de revenir

Yann’s place was absolutely perfect for our week skiing, it’s located a short walk from the cinema bus stop straight to Samoens GME. It’s conveniently located next to a supermarket and ski rental shop. The studio was equipped with everything we needed to cater for ourselves for the week.

The most gorgeous location, perfect to stay as a solo traveller. Easy access to beautiful local trails and felt very safe and secure in the property.

Nous avons passé le week end de Pâques dans l’appartement de Cedric et n’avons pas été déçus. Habitués de la station, nous avions choisi cette résidence pour sa proximité des pistes. L’appartement est plus grand que la moyenne à Flaine, et le double balcon est très appréciable. L’appartement est très bien équipé et la chambre, grande et avec une belle vue, est un vrai plus. Il y a également bcp de rangements, et le local à skis est facile d’accès et confortable. Enfin, le casier à ski est suffisamment grand pour accueillir 4 paires de ski et chaussures. Cerise sur le gâteau: le wifi 🙂. Nous ne pouvons que recommander ce logement!

Had a wonderful stay at Thierry’s place. They greeted us in person at check in and showed us around. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our toddler including crib, high chair. They even let us know in advance that we could check out a little later than 11 am which was highly appreciated especially with a toddler. They were wonderful and extremely thoughtful hosts. Would highly recommend!!

Nous sommes arrivée en dernière minute pour déplacements pro. Fred a été très réactif, le logement correspond à l’annonce . Tout c’est bien passé . Nous recommandions et nous sommes très satisfaite .

Very nice apartment with a lovely big living room and large windows. Well equipped, clean and tidy. A short walk to the Argentiere lifts, all important boulangerie and restaurants in the village. Justin was very helpful but not over the top. Recommended.

Absolutely perfect! Annabel and Arnaud are fantastic hosts with an immaculate, well-equipped apartment in an ideal location. Seamless check-in, spotless throughout, and the kitchen has everything you need. Fresh groceries just 5 minutes away, and the bus/train connections to Chamonix and hiking trails are incredibly convenient. Outstanding value and exactly what you want for an Alpine getaway — highly recommended!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Grattague chez Wilfried. Son appartement chaleureux et bien agencé est situé dans un endroit calme. Depuis le balcon, vue magnifique sur le Mont Blanc et l’aiguille du midi. Départ de randonnées au pied de la résidence. Wilfried est un hôte attentif et bienveillant. Encore merci !
