(nearest grocery store) Emils Katthult about 6 km. Among other things, two national parks, (Kvill and Skurugata), nearby with nice walking paths. Flea markets. Lovely nature outside the house for forest excursions or swimming and fishing.

Exception, cottage in rural setting

Welcome to our little cottage that we call Undantaget! The accommodation is located in the beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 minutes from Vimmerby, ALV. Nearby are nice swimming areas. Undantaget is located on the edge of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow pasture. The cottage is from the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out Undantaget are called Elsa & Andreas, our two children and some Linderöd pigs also live here.

Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

Cozy, rural and spacious accommodation in a lively village with animals nearby. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the beautiful nature, 15 minutes from Vimmerby. Balcony with outdoor furniture, where you can enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the meadows or barbecue in the afternoon sun. Lawn with room for play, swings and other play equipment. The house, built in 1914, has been both a stable, a farm restaurant, a permanent residence and now a tourist accommodation. Please note that bed linens, towels and cleaning are not included.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Grankvistgården (Farmhouse)

Now you have the opportunity to stay in our farmhouse at Grankvistgården from the 18th century in the center of Vimmerby. Access to a wonderful large garden with a gazebo and parking in the yard. Here you live centrally but privately and are close to both shops, restaurants and Astrid Lindgren's World. The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 children as well as a smaller child as there is a crib. Alternatively, 4 adults. Bed linens and towels are not included. The guest cleans up before check-out.

Välkomna till hagstugan 17 km norr om Vimmerby och Astrid Lindgrens värld! Här bor ni mysigt mitt i naturen utanför en mindre by. Trädgård med lekstuga, studsmatta och trädgårdsmöbler. Stugan har enklare standard och sina små skavanker men vi hoppas du som vill bo i ett charmigt hus mitt ute i naturen ska trivas! Sängkläder, handdukar och städning ingår inte. Sängkläder och handdukar kan hyras för 100 kr per person. Husdjur är inte tillåtna. Katt och hund har dock funnits i huset tidigare.

The Skuru farm is close to Katth Katthult and here you rent your own house on the farm. 25-minute drive to Astrid Lindgren's World Perfect for guests looking for a peaceful and pleasant holiday in the countryside. In 2020, we renovated the kitchen, entrance hall and laundry room and also built a brand new bathroom on the ground floor. There is proximity to the lake with boat and swimming. Warm welcome!

Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.

Välkomna till vår naturnära 70-talspärla mitt i det småländska kulturlandskapet! Här bor ni i levande liten by med bebyggelse från 1800-talet, 20 minuter från Astrid Lindgrens värld, Katthult och Bullerbyn. Huset ligger längs vandringsleden Sevedeleden och alldeles i närheten av den 1000-åriga Kvilleken och dess vackra omgivningar. Nedanför backen ligger en fin liten badsjö och några km bort finner ni den trolska Nationalparken i Norra Kvill.
