Welcome to our little cottage that we call Undantaget! The accommodation is located in the beautiful Småland village of Älö, 15 minutes from Vimmerby, ALV. Nearby are nice swimming areas. Undantaget is located on the edge of our plot, one side to a small garden with patio and the other side to an idyllic Småland cow pasture. The cottage is from the turn of the century and carefully renovated. Old windows, doors and floors are preserved. We who rent out Undantaget are called Elsa & Andreas, our two children and some Linderöd pigs also live here.

The cottage is state-of-the-art, has running water, toilet, shower and sauna. It consists of a kitchen and a large living room. There is a terrace with lake views, where you can start the day with birdsong and enjoy morning coffee. The cottage shares a child-friendly cozy beach. During your stay, you will experience the genuine Småland nature in peace and quiet and without crowds.

Red Småland cottage, surrounded by quiet meadows and green fields. Only a stone's throw away is Astrid Lindgren's World, where fairy tales and childhood memories live on. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature. On the farm, we have chickens and sheep that you can meet if you want. In the nature around the cottage, we have most Swedish animal species, moose, deer, roe deer, lynx, but also the sea eagle can be seen scouting for prey on meadows and fields. If you want to fish and swim, there are two lakes within a few kilometers.

Cottage in Djursdala - Bullebo

Stay at a charming little horse farm that offers a unique and scenic environment with its own garden. Located 15 minutes outside Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World. Here is a newly renovated red little cottage with an annex, which together can accommodate up to six people. A short walk leads to a lake perfect for evening swimming, there is also a child-friendly swimming area with diving tower that is about five minutes away by car in Lake Juttern. Outside the junction is the Sevedeleden trail, which takes you to the Djursdalarunda.

Here you have a well-equipped home in really good condition. Fully-equipped kitchen. Fireplace. Charcoal grill. Toys both indoors and outdoors. Swing set, trampoline, etc. Bedroom with double bed and bunk bed. Sleeping loft with (partially) full ceiling height double bed, single bed and crib. 1 simpler bed to fold up if needed. Enjoy the tranquility of our idyllic cottage, surrounded by nature, with a cozy fireplace and beautiful views! We offer the possibility to borrow bicycles and rent a kayak and rowing boat. You can take a short walk to buy eggs or locally produced apple cider directly from the neighboring farmer, visit cows, horses, chickens and watch deer. A 5-minute bike ride takes you to a beautiful lake, or why not take a trip to Vimmerby and Astrid Lindgren's World just 40 km away? Book now for a magical vacation!

Uddebo Cottage, with private beach and garden

Uddebo ligger precis vid Rosjön och endast 10 km norr om den vackra trästaden Eksjö. Huset ligger på en udde ute i sjön och har ett unikt sjöläge med sjöutsikt från alla delar av huset. Från vardagsrummet och sovrummet kommer du ut på ett trädäck med trappa ner till trädgården och bryggan. Det är ett naturskönt och ostört läge med hus i närheten men inte precis bredvid. Närheten till riksväg 32 gör det enkelt att ta sig hit. Vägen hörs, men för de allra flesta upplevs det inte som störande.

Lugnt läge med den vilda naturen runt omkring er. 150 meter bakom stugan finns grillplats och vacker vy över sjön Sommen. Fina skogsområden med promenadstråk och vandringsleder för svamp- och bärplockning. Stor chans att få se mycket vilt som rådjur, älg, räv och även Havsörn. 500 meter promenadstig till ångbåtshamn, badplats och fiske.
