Monthly Rentals in Sol del Este

We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment for our Honeymoon. The apartment is in a very quiet and sleepy corner of the island, but just a 12 minute walk away you can find Es Castell - a perfect little cove with lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was so well equipped with everything you would need. Even the knives in the kitchen were sharp, which is a relief as often this is not the case in rentals! The development is mainly occupied by British owners, so it was nice to chat and get to know people around the pool. Whilst we were staying, there was alot of construction work happening on the development which meant it was noisy at times and we had no electric for a couple of ours on on of the days, the host dealt with this well and it was out of their control! One thing to note is the cove nearby is not swimmable, which we were disappointed to find out, but we walked 40 mins to another Cove to swim so that was perfect. I booked the accommodation for my son and his partner, and they came back happy with the experience. They tell me that the studio is very nice, comfortable and quiet. They especially loved being able to relax in the hammam and the pool. Thank you for taking such good care of them.

Just home after staying in Jorge’s fabulous villa for a week. We used to holiday in Sol del Este (La Gardenia) when our children were younger and decided to return as a larger family group 20 years later. Jorge’s villa was perfect for that. The views of Mahón bay from the large terrace are amazing, and there is plenty of space for social gatherings both inside the villa and in the extensive grounds. You can move location in the garden to enjoy the evening sun also, which is lovely. The top floor terrace is great for star gazing too. We still enjoyed doing the activities we used to do when staying in Sol del Este, eg jogging to Cala Sant Esteve, jumping off the rocks at nearby Cala Pedrera and the cliff top walk into Mahon.We hired 2 cars, which you easily park in the villa grounds, though a car is not essential here as easy to walk into Es Castell for all the restaurants, bars, buses etc. Jorge was a very attentive host, he dealt with any small issues very promptly. Would return here.
