Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sotra

We had a wonderful time at Turid’s cabin. Truly incredible space, comfortable and cozy. Lots of things to do inside and outside the house. We rented one of the boats and had a beautiful couple of days out on the fjord. Turid and Audun also gifted us some very fresh eggs from their farm, were available at all times and helped us with recommendations and any questions we had. We loved it. We will return. A very magical place. 10/10

There are so many wonderful things to say about this very special place. The house is magical! It is far more beautiful and charming in real life. There were so many different places to go, to be together, or to be separate, to chat, or to read or work. The furnishings are lovely and comfortable. And the art selection is fantastic. It was warm and sunny, and when it rained, we could hear the rain on the roof. The place was very quiet and the location is perfect to do all the things anyone would want to do in Bergen. And an outstanding kitchen! Sharp knives are rare in these places and we loved the ones here. Ingvild was a lovely and generous hostess. We look forward to returning, and to spend much more time here.

the house is really very beautiful and well thought out. It has everything you need and even more. The terrace is lovely too. Everything was perfect and the accommodation is 15 minutes from the airport! Communication with the host went very well too.

Had a great stay in the apartment. Location is as good as it gets. We walked to everything. The apartment is spacious and felt very clean. All the conveniences you can ask for is in the place. We didn't lack for anything. I would gladly return.

We appreciate all the details Julia put in to make her apartment so comfortable, like electric outlet adapter for foreigners, microwave oven, quality appliances. The bathroom is large with a good shower and a sitting bench. Dedicated parking near the front door. Laundry room with washer and dryer. Quick & easy communication. Good value. Highly recommend.

We stayed five nights in Svein's apartment. The apartment has everything you need and is located 2 minutes from the bus station. You need about 20 minutes to get into Bergen city. The communication was excellent and very pleasant. Svein is an open and very kind person who’s great to talk to and always happy to share helpful tips. His wife even drove us to the starting point of our hike once – incredibly kind. 😊 I can highly recommend this accommodation – we had a great time. Thank you to Svein and his wife! :)

This location is in the middle of great restaurants and bars but far enough out to be quiet and good nights sleep. Host is very descriptive in her directions and super responsive. Felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again if back in Bergen.

The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything that is needed was amply present. The bed was fine. The view from the apartment and from the garden is very beautiful. The weather was not great, but fortunately there are many walks and hikes to do in the area, even in bad weather. Bjorn and his wife were very quick with their responses and very friendly and helpful when needed. I can recommend the stay here to everyone!

Awesome place for a quiet stay in Bergen, not far from nature. Beautiful and well maintained property, superb walking paths few minutes behind the house, easy access to downtown, nice views from the balcony. Eldrid is an outstanding host. Her warmth, hospitality and genuine care made our stay very comforting and enjoyable. Everything was perfect, from the comfort of the apartment to the welcoming atmosphere she naturally creates. We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We had a very nice stay at Hilde's house. The location right on the fjord is very nice. The house was absolutely big enough for us with 10 people. Everything was very clean and nice. The boat, which can be rented in addition, is simple but in very good condition and has a 20 hp motor. As an angler, I can say: The fjord is an absolutely excellent body of water for mackerel and saithe. Hilde also gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you!

Loved how quiet the location is and the hiking trail behind the house was wonderful!! The family felt right at home. Communication with the host was easy and reliable, and the accommodations were fantastic. You can easily get an Uber or taxi into town, and the wait was always less than 10 minutes. We can’t speak highly enough about the house, room, views, and the host. We look forward to coming back someday. 🤩

Wonderful location in the heart of Bergen - perfect for waking to just about anything. Kristin was helpful and responsive and we had a wonderful stay!

This is one of the best places I have seen in my life. It’s even better than the pictures, the view… the coziness of the place and the area.. the house is 20 mins away from the centre by car, so not far but far enough to feel the tranquility of the area. Janne is super responsive and sweet, we loved every minute there. It’s perfect for either a family with kids or a group of friends with kids or even a couple that wants to reconnect, I can’t recommend it enough. Janne was so sweet and left us evth we could need, dishwasher tablets, coffee capsules, she even offered us a welcome gift (Norwegian salmon and an amazing juice that we got literally addicted to). I can’t thank Janne enough for having us over, definitely recommend

We were 6 adults and 5 kids here for a weekend. It was absolutely phenomenal for both adults and small and big enough that we felt we had a lot of room around us. It was adapted to the smallest ones as well, with stair gates and little pø that could be ruined. There were also toys in the room above the garage so the little ones could bike and slide slide. Recommended!
