The cabin is located on Sotra, Liaskjeret, about 25 minutes from Bergen city center. The cabin is modern, at the same time it has a touch of romance. Hiking areas (both mountains and forests) as well as fishing opportunities are nearby. Outdoor areas are nicely landscaped with fruit trees and berry bushes, as well as lawn. Note! Not suitable if you have trouble walking up stairs/path.

Welcome to a real log house, which is built according to many hundred years old building traditions in Norway. The house has modern facilities on a flat. You get nice bed linen, lots of pillows and many soft towels. The walls are logs, and all floors are solid pine floors with heating cables. We are pleased to present a completely raw holiday cottage in a cove with a very nice view and a small sandy beach 15 meters from the cottage. Marina 25 meters from the cabin. Here you get far away from the city, noise and everyday life, to silence, magnificent and beautiful nature. Who wouldn't want to "land" out here after a busy day and enjoy the waves from the sea. Outdoor wood-fired hot tub. There are great hiking trails right outside the cabin door with "adventure forest" and viewpoints towards the ocean.

In front of the house is Gallery Solbakkestova with its associated sculpture garden that is always open to the public. Around the house goats graze, and you have a view of some free-range chickens, and some alpacas on the other side of the road. The house has terraces on both sides, where it is lovely to sit and take in the surroundings and feel the peace. There are also great hiking trails nearby.
