Guest house holiday rentals in South Bend

For this trip, it was my husband and I and our 2 kids (18 & 21). Kyle's airbnb is in a perfect location right on the St. Joseph's River. It is beautiful and peaceful. The in-ground pool is a lovely perk and he has a dock to hang out on or go fishing. My husband and son loved fishing and hanging out on the dock. Kyle and his wife are friendly and so are the neighbors. The second floor apartment is above a garage and is 1 bedroom with beds all in the same room. There is a second bathroom with a shower as well as a sitting room with a larger TV and kitchen space downstairs which is nice if you need more space. We had problems while there with the internet. Kyle did check into it and tried to fix it, however it didn't work well the entire stay. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Absolutely recommend this place! It is warm and cozy, with a massive backyard which was great for our dogs to play in and for us to relax in! It feels very private and has such a unique vibe! Ann was amazing, she was kind, friendly, and gave incredible recommendations! Mason Jar Cafe is a MUST! Highly recommend and hope to return soon!

Came for an ND game and it was the perfect space for two couples! Appreciated that the host had provided the little things - moisturizer, extra chargers, etc. It’s also 1 block from No. 6 restaurant, which was great.

Spent a game weekend here and it was awesome! Beautiful property, delicious brownies, water for us in the fridge. So considerate, responsive, and comfortable. Would absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay at the Shire! The place was perfect for our family. Our kids adored the pond and waterfall and enjoyed feeding the fish. The location was the perfect relaxing base for exploring southwest Michigan! We can’t wait to come back!

Lovely, comfortable plane near Notre Dame. Responsive, friendly host.

This was a cozy and comfortable home base for attending a conference at Notre Dame. The spiral staircase is as cool as it looks in pictures (but pretty tight in reality, just as a heads up to consider). And Anna was super friendly and helpful!

Great Airbnb! Gail is a wonderful host. She and her husband Greg went above and beyond what is expected from an Airbnb. The house was super clean, stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and bath, and it had comfy furniture. Gail and Greg were so accommodating and responsive. We needed batteries for the tv remote, Greg was changing the remote batteries within minutes of me sending a message to Gail. A very nice touch was found in the fridge. There were a dozen eggs, a large package of sausage, English muffins , butter, a coffee cake, bottles of water, oj, and candy. It was a wonderful 2 days and to top it off Gail and Greg showed us around the nearby casino. It felt like we were staying with old friends.

Michelle and her husband were amazing hosts. They brought us coffee beans and delicious granola from their favorite farm. From the amazing views of the river to the modern lake house design we couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. It was clean and cozy. Definitely would go back the next time we are in town for Notre Dame football.

We absolutely loved our time at The Loft. Owen was a great communicator from the beginning, such a nice person. The property is beautiful and so peaceful. We loved the hot tub! As other reviews mentioned, the couch is super comfortable. Had a nice visit to Weko Beach. The town of Bridgman is lovely. We went to The Grande Mere Inn for a decadent birthday dinner for my husband, highly recommend. Visited the Lavender Bliss Flower Farm, such a beautiful place to stroll around, and we picked up some nice gifts. Had some delicious thin crust pizza at D'Agostino's Navajo Bar and Grille one night. Did a little cooking in The Loft, there was just enough pans, plates, serving utensils, etc. Just a wonderful area and a perfect place to stay to enjoy it all!

This was an awesome place to stay! Came In for the ND v Stanford game. The house is close to campus, very nice little neighborhood! It was extremely clean and comfortable! The beds were some of the best I’ve ever slept in at any b&b or hotel. You will not regret your stay!

Denise &Ninel are wonderful! One of the best experiences we've had. The property is stunning and so peaceful. We enjoyed the spacious deck and walks in the woods. Pristine accommodations that were very comfortable for our party of 5. We loved being able to spend time together cooking in the well equipped kitchen, while doing puzzles and crafts at the large table. The gas fireplace and comfortable seating were perfect for latenight movies as well. The property is a great base for exploring Harbor Country, only minutes away from the beach, great restaurants, wineries, and all SW Michigan has to offer. Will definitely stay again!

I stayed here with my wife and 7-month-old son. We were in the area for a Notre Dame football weekend. It’s an easy 40 minutes to campus. The road to the guest house was a bit tricky to find but otherwise we had no issues checking in. The hosta were flexible allowing us to check in a little early. The listing describes the place well. We loved having a kitchen. There is no dishwasher but this wasn’t a concern of ours. The bed was comfortable as were the sofa and chairs. The hosts are very responsive. They even set up a pack-and-play for our son and provided us with a heads up about a bike race on our day of departure! We LOVED this place and are planning to come back.
