Holiday rentals with a patio in South Bruce Peninsula

This was my wife and I’s second time visiting Midland to attend the annual butter tart festival. Our previous rental unit last year was great as were the furnishing so the bar was high for this year’s Airbnb rental. In fact, the “Home in Midland” rental unit and the hosts exceeded our expectations. The rental unit's location was only minutes from the festival and most amenities such restaurants, waterfront and stores. We never moved the car during our stay since everything was within a short walk. About the hosts welcoming attitude and hospitality: Upon arrival, we requested an early entry which was granted without hesitation. We were also fortunate enough to meet one of the hosts (Shelby) she was extremely pleasant and assisted us in making sure we were in the right parking spot, which was well indicated. We walked up 2 flights of stairs to get to our unit and were pleasantly surprised at the space of the rental . The pictures online were absolutely on point and matched expectations.

Dorothy's was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. The entire space is super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The view of the forest and the firepit area make it a serene and relaxing environment to spend a weekend away.

Jessica’s place was incredibly spacious and featured a beautiful balcony overlooking the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and the home was well-equipped with everything we needed—including a patio barbecue. We stayed during a heat wave, and the air conditioning kept the space perfectly cool. The hosts were attentive and responsive throughout our stay. Overall, excellent value for the money—I would highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Such a nice place. Cozy, cute, and clean.. It was very peaceful on the private back deck. There is also a big backyard for the pups to run around in. Its a perfect place with delicious restaurants steps away. We will most definitely stay here again

Ana was an amazing host. She was very responsive and helpful. My friends and I loved the location and space. It is even better in person. The unit is private with a beautiful view of the grounds and ponds. We enjoyed walking the property and being close to town for dinner. Ana also left us some delicious Portuguese tarts, which was a lovely, unexpected touch. We highly recommend her place and are already planning our next visit. Thank you, Ana, for a fantastic stay!

Natalie’s place is excellent! The studio was super clean and very nice. We felt right at home!! It had everything we needed and was close to all the local attractions. Natalie provided a guide ahead of our trip with information about the AirBnb, as well as local recommendations for food and things to do. She was extremely kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Natalie!!

Decided day of to stay a night in blue mountain after camping. Wasn’t sure if we would be able to get a place to stay on a few hour notice. Dom & Christen replied and accepted with in minutes and let us check in a bit early. Very friendly hosts and a nice place.

Kristen’s place was spotless but still felt homey. She has literally absolutely anything you could need. Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance imaginable. A plethora of glass choices, which I love. Beds were comfortable. Outdoor space was beautiful and inviting. To all the ladies, there are not one, but 2 full length mirrors. Which I have never seen in any other property. And is always my number one pet peeve. Well done Kristen!

Clean , cozy place with all the amenities you'll need. Short walk to a public little beach. Even our Molly enjoyed exploring the fenced in yard and local trails. Cheryl R.

The house was sparkling clean, attractively furnished and handicapped friendly. The gourmet kitchen was beautifully equipped and well laid out for the preparation of large group meals. Outdoors, the well equipped porch faced a lovely wild butterfly meadow but that was only the start of the outdoor treats. The nearby woods hosted lovely warblers and cuckoos. The famous Bruce alvars and fens were present on the property – a short walk down an easy path – or even at the edge of the driveway. The host responded promptly and effectively to all our questions and needs. All in all a delightful week.

We absolutely loved our stay at Janna’s place. Her charming home is thoughtfully stocked with high-quality touches throughout. Outside, a sprawling yard beckons with multiple fire pits, plenty of firewood, and a top-of-the-line hot tub, all tucked away in complete privacy. It was the perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend.

Keith is a great host! He gave very clear and easy to follow instructions about the property! We also had the privilege of checking in a few hours early, which was very helpful with our 6 month old. The house/property was beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend away with friends. My husband and I really appreciated that there was some baby furniture available as well! We look forward to staying at Keith’s property again in the future :)

Wonderful place to stay! Natalie and Steve are amazing hosts. We felt at home right from the start. The cottage is very well thought, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. There were toys, books and puzzles for my son to play. Would definitely recommend for a lovely stay in Bruce Peninsula.

This is one of those Airbnbs that you never want to leave! We stayed with our two pups and had an absolute blast here. Even on the rainy days, we enjoyed staying in and playing ping pong, cooking, and watching movies, enjoying the view. We saw so much fun wildlife, including turkeys, hares, red squirrels, millions of snapping turtles, loons, and others I'm forgetting! Even though the neighboring houses are quite close, we never felt crowded and it was still very peaceful and quiet on the bay. The dog run was amazing for quick potty trips, and Matt is in the process of upgrading the fencing to a more reinforced material. Until then it may be best to be out there with your dog or leash your dog if they are an escape artist, or have a strong prey drive because the rabbits are not shy!! Matt was an exceptional host, extremely proactive and kind in all communications. He truly cares about his guests' comfort and making sure they have a wonderful time! Thanks again for your hospitality!

Our one night stay at Sabine’s was tremendous. The home is well appointed with plenty of space and easy walking distance to the village. Located in a second floor end unit, it’s a place you immediately feel comfortable in. There is a view of the slopes from the main room picture windows and a small deck area with muskoka chairs. There’s a sizeable fridge to store your beverages to drink while soaking up the views. There are two bedrooms on the main floor, and good sized master in the loft with king bed and en suite. Sabine was very communicative and left detailed instructions. Remote check in was a breeze. There is parking available. I would definitely recommend, and would definitely come back.

Such an amazing place! So tastefully decorated and super close to the blue mountain village. Well stocked kitchen, the place was spotless and the host was very kind and friendly. We had a wonderful family weekend there and we are already excited to come back! Thanks so much again.

We had a great stay at the Parker Slopeside! Everything was clean, and it was so nice being able to use the pool in this summer heat! The bed was a bit firmer than we like, but that is just personal preference. The location was close to the Village, and a very short drive to Collingwood. Beautiful surroundings! Thank you!

We had a great stay in Blue Mountain. The unit is very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a short stay. The property is located within a 10-15 minute walk to the village and short drive to Collingwood and surrounding areas.

Nick and Danielle’s home is the perfect get-away. We used it for some fun on the nearby biking trails, but it would be equally perfect for skiing and any other nearby activity. Nick and Danielle’s home is clean, tidy, spacious and has comfortable seating in the living room. The outdoor patio is lovely to sit on to peacefully enjoy the surrounding nature and watch the nearby golf. The kitchen and bathrooms have all the necessary amenities and more. We found the beds very comfortable for some good sleeps after our fun days. Nick and Danielle were easy to communicate with. They even checked in with us to let us know they’d noticed that we hadn’t started the AC and wondered if we’d like them to start it for us. It was a little cool out so we didn’t need it, but we were impressed at this thoughtful gesture! Thank you for a wonderful stay. We’d be happy to return again!
