Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in South Shields

This was a lovely stay, it was perfect size for 1-2 people on a long term stay, walking distance of Roker Park and the beachfront. It was also convenient walking to Stadium of Light. Easy access to convenient stores, large Tesco and bus stop at the end of street for those not wanting to walk.

Billy and his wife were very welcoming. We had a cake baked for us and the apartment was very clean and homely.

Fantastic weekend stay in Newcastle! Christian was so friendly & accommodating for our stay, the apartment was stunning with everything we could possibly need. The bed was very comfortable and everything felt luxurious, including the robes & fancy coffee machine. Being walking distance from st James park and city centre shops & restaurants was so handy. It was perfect for our weekend as wedding guests and exploring the city, only a quick taxi from the Airport as we flew in from Bristol as well which was really convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here over a budget hotel as it had all the little extra home comforts, if I’m ever in Newcastle again I will be returning to this lovely apartment. We had a lovely stay at Will & Dawn’s place. They’re very friendly and helpful in providing all the instructions and information we needed ahead of our trip. Our children love playing (and feeding!) their rabbits & hamsters and the indoor heated swimming pool was simply a bonus to have when it’s raining outside. The place was very cosy & clean and it’s a great location to explore Northumberland!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The place is beautifully decorated with so much character—stylish, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. The setting was perfect too—peaceful, charming, and a great base for exploring the area. What really made the experience stand out were the hosts. Super friendly and welcoming, with incredible local knowledge that totally upgraded my trip. From hidden gems to the best spots to eat and explore, their tips made all the difference. Can’t recommend this place enough—already looking forward to coming back!

This largish well apportioned apartment was just the ticket for our trip to Sunderland. Located in a lovely quiet suburb of Edwardian(?) houses the flat is on the second floor of a three story house. Clean and functional it was a convenient ten to fifteen minute walk to the city centre which was ideal. Not far from the Ivy House pub where there is a great selection of real ales and a tasty pizza offering. Key box entry was easy with parking outside in the lane was a bonus. Shower was good also. The apartment was spotless and clean reasonably priced - served our needs well.

Absolutely amazing place to stay , clean , tidy and lovely decor. Everything is well thought out and everything you need is in there :) Great host lovely guy and will definitely be staying again :) The patio area and garden just top it off over looking the sea . Fab views peaceful but not far away from things . A lovely park within a 3 min walk with a lake and waterfalls . Really really recommend. Great for private parking . Very impressed start to finish :)

Easy to find, beach 5 mins from property, the house was well kitted out and very dog friendly, within easy reach of shops. Be aware of the places to walk your dog on the beach ( times of the year) as the neighbour pointed out they fine you £1000 and have wardens who do check. We used the house as a base to discover the stunning coast line / Villages, Holy Island a must see. Gary was a great host and left fresh bread and milk /juice for when we arrived. We would recommend this place

This is a perfect home for a family stay - it was clean, comfortable, spacious and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the beach and there is plenty to do in the local area. We had a wonderful time, thank you so much!

A thoroughly enjoyable stay as usual. Love staying at Joan’s home. It has everything we need, so comfortable and clean. It was a very hot weekend but the home was lovely and cool. There are very nice walks just a minute away, turn right out of the front door and walk to the end of the road. The paths lead to the lake, and also a very nice local pub for a morning coffee.

Wow what a location and property! We were so excited to arrive and were overjoyed when our high expectations were exceeded! This really is a spot of magic, the views, scenery and local walks are unbeatable and the cottage is truly beautiful inside, with everything you would need for a luxury relaxing stay. We have already talked of when to return. Sunrises from the back garden were spectacular.

Absolutely gorgeous house in a beautiful location. Everything was spotless. Angela was a brilliant host, and left lots of extra finishing touches to make our stay 10/10. We will definitely stay here again, and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Second time staying at this beautiful cottage and hopefully not our last. Such a nice location, John and Marion are great hosts. The cottage is spotless and has lots of nice touches. Would highly recommend.

Loved our stay here, we went up to stay with my elderly Mum & our dog (who loved the garden and watching the world go by through the big windows) Great house in a great spot. Was easy to gain access into house with good instructions, it has good tv (Netflix & Virgin), a lovely touch was the essentials (Milk, Bread, eggs & snacks) left for us on our arrival. We enjoyed the easy walk down to the sea front, a steady walk takes you between 10/15 minutes. Sainsbury’s local is a 2 minute walk at the end of the road also there is a small cafe which sells good coffee, they also do sandwiches & pastries. The downstairs toilet is a great bonus as it saved my elderly mum having to go upstairs, this should be advertised as we didn’t realise it had this when we booked. We will definitely book again when we next visit Tynemouth. Thank you to our hosts.

This house is absolutely insane. The photos do not do it justice, it’s stunning. We came for a hen weekend. we were not there to party, we wanted a chilled weekend and that is what we got. All the rooms are absolutely stunning. We were overwhelmed how nice the house was. The gym, hot tub and sauna just adds to how great the house is. I can’t forget the games room upstairs, that was an added bonus too and was just amazing. I would 100% recommend this house for any families or friends wanting a nice chilled weekend. Mark and Sarah are always there either by email or phone and are quick to sort out any issues. Each room is clean and stunning ready for you arriving. What an amazing house. We were all gutted to leave as it was so lovely. Will definitely be going back.

nice appartment in a great location close to stores and takeout options and close to major highways

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

The apartment was a perfect place to stay to go to a local wedding and also to discover the surrounding areas. It was very clean, well equipped and homely. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and we would definitely return there if we were in the area again. There are quite a few steps up to the two floors which didn't bother us but some people may find them difficult. Communication was great with lots of local suggestions and recommendations. Directions and instructions about the apartment were great Check in and check out was very easy. There was no downside to the apartment but unfortunately the recommended pub across the road was rather disappointing. The young barmaid was more interested in her phone and talking to a young male customer than serving drinks. A large red transit van was parked in our reserved parking space one evening but we just parked in an unmarked space overnight instead, so it wasn't a problem. We had a lovely meal at the Fox Hole in Priestbridge.

Enjoyed our stay here - everything was great. In a quiet location but with parking out front and an easy walk into the centre of Durham. Hosts easy to communicate with. Plenty of information about things to do and where to eat.

Myself, my partner and friends visited for the weekend and had a fab time. Lesley-Ann was a brilliant host and the apartment was beautiful in the perfect location. The handbook was filled with loads of info on things to do, recommended restaurants and bars etc. Would 100% stay again and would recommend highly ❤️

Communication has been excellent since the day I booked to the day you met us when we arrived. Seeing my parents smiles when we walked in told me I had made the right choice, you were so welcoming and the views from the living room are amazing, everything was fantastic and your advice on where to go for the football was perfect 👌🏻 Communication has been excellent and it was so good to meet you on our arrival, hopefully we will return in the near future as there are still many places to return to for more reminiscing.

A gorgeous, peaceful place to stay for a long weekend. The flat is beautifully furnished and decorated and has everything you need provided. Very close to Gosforth High Street, which has loads of restaurants and bars, as well as handy shops like Sainsburys and Boots. We had great meals at the Brandling Arms and Tremelo Cafe. There's also lots of bus connections into Newcastle and beyond, so very easy to get around the area. I wouldn't hesitate to book the flat again.

As an Airbnb owner myself I know how important communication is. Brian went above and beyond before, during, and after our stay to make sure we were happy. We were traveling with our two daughters, ages 3 and 1, Brian went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed to make them comfortable during our stay. The apartment was very spacious and was well equipped. The location was perfect, close to the central train station, science center, bars, restaurants, and shopping. If you are looking for a safe, centrally located, clean apartment in Newcastle this is 100% your place.
