Kid-friendly holiday rentals in South Slope, Brooklyn

My friend and I had a few events to go to in Bk this weekend and instead of driving back and forth to Queens, we decided to get an air bnb close to all of our planned activities in Brooklyn. We must say that this listing was so convenient and we felt right at home. The amenities that are provided and the clear instructions on how to gain access was what stood out the most when choosing this air bnb. All descriptions were very accurate and we would highly recommend Lee's listing for others who needs a home away from home to stay at. Thank you so much for your hospitality Lee!!!!!

Laura’s place was great. My room was on the 3rd floor. The bed was comfy. Two small windows looked out over houses and trees. It was quiet. It felt homey. There was use of the kitchen but I only kept a couple things in the refrigerator. It was 1/2 block from a nice commercial area with restaurants and grocery stores. Laura was very welcoming. I was gone quite a bit or in my room, so I didn’t see much of her.

I loved this place! Sherrie is SO nice and helpful. The house is beautiful and chill. The room was very comfortable. The neighborhood is great. Very walkable. Amazing food and coffee. Close to public transportation. I would definitely come back.

A perfect stay and reasonably priced. Would book again if I am ever in Brooklyn.

Stayed here while visiting my daughter who lives in the neighborhood. walk to the South side of Prospect Park and coffee shops, bodegas, and restaurants. Easy access to subway. Comfortable place to stay when visiting family.

I highly recommend staying here! The location was wonderful- a cute coffee shop, restaurant and bar just around the corner as well as metro access. The neighborhood is cozy and felt very safe. The airbnb is spacious and clean and Ericka and Aaron were very responsive and welcoming. We had a great time in NYC!!

This apartment is a fantastic base to explore the city. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well laid out. It stayed nice and cool during our stay too. The location is on a great block that's close to great shops, restaurants, and activities, and is also very close to the subway. We really enjoyed our visit.

One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. Full of character and in the middle of Cobble Hill. Not for everyone. Ceilings are low. Stairs are steep, and the building is old. But if you are looking for a unique, comfortable experience. This is it.

Nice place, nice people. Entire place was very clean, and offered all the amenities that made it feel like home. Kitchen was well stocked. Grocery shopping within walking distance, making it easy to prepare meals at home. Various subway stations were just a short walk away, making transportation easy without a car. We would be happy to stay here again in the future.

Linsey’s place was easy to settle into—comfortable, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Every detail was covered, from kid-friendly dishes and towels to an iron and teapot, making it feel like a home away from home. The space was quiet and restful after full days exploring the city, and the lighting in the evening made it feel especially cozy. Clear instructions and room controls helped us feel self-sufficient, and the toys for the kids were such a sweet bonus. Linsey’s communication was detailed and considerate throughout. We also loved Café Spaghetti just around the corner—a neighborhood gem with great hours and a relaxed vibe perfect for little ones.

One of the best stays I've had in the NYC area. Marcos neighborhood is very nice, quiet, walkable and has a lovely lake nearby for a stroll. Wish there were some curtains, but other than that superb. Will stay again in the future.

Brian's place was exactly as described, and a perfect home base for our family of 3. Very clean, comfortable, and in a wonderful part of Brooklyn. Felt at home -- we would stay again!

The place was bigger than expected! Quiet building and street but close to several bustling neighborhoods. Enjoyed the experience of having a NYC loft for a week. Good for remote working too. Thanks!

Very clear directions and responsive, caring hosts. Apartment was beautiful and spacious. My daughter enjoyed going to the coffee shop below every morning. Lots of unique stores and restaurants nearby. Overall a great choice!

Apartment was clean,spacious we stayed 6 nights with our 2 year old baby. You can get bus no 126 which will take you to time square so very convenient to travel to newyork. Aj and John were very helpful and great host. We had a great stay. Best wishes . Bimla

We absolutely loved our stay at Laurie’s place in Hoboken! The home is exactly as pictured—spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished, and incredibly well thought-out. Laurie has truly anticipated every need, making it easy to feel right at home. We were a group of six (three couples), and the space was perfect—spacious & comfortable. The beds were especially cozy. The location couldn't have been better—just a 10-minute walk to the PATH train, which made getting into NYC fast and simple. After long days exploring, it was so nice to return to a quiet, relaxing home base in Hoboken. The neighborhood itself is absolutely charming, with plenty of great restaurants and cafes. I only wish we’d had more time to enjoy Hoboken itself. We especially loved grabbing coffee just a block away at Hey Coffee People and relaxing in the peaceful backyard. All in all, Laurie’s place is a rare find. If it’s available, don’t hesitate to book. We’d return in a heartbeat!
