Holiday rentals with a kayak in South West England

We had a fantastic stay for a wedding nearby and Michael’s communication was excellent.

Hannah's place is beautiful - clean and clutter-free, whilst still feeling like a home. They have thought of absolutely everything! The kitchen is so well-equipped, there is a huge selection of games, a washer/dryer and clothes airer are provided... Everything you could want and more! The property itself is spacious and the garden is stunning - and the private parking space is a real win! The village of Boscastle is picture-perfect, with some lovely cafés and shops. It's the perfect base from which to explore Cornwall. Thank you for hosting us - we had an amazing stay!

Beautiful house perfect for family holidays. Loved lazy days out with kids on the kayaks & rowing boat! Would definitely recommend. Alex was a great host & very helpful. Will definitely be back again one day…

We had a very enjoyable stay with the family for a major birthday celebration. The accommodation and location are really lovely. The kayaks with life jackets were available. We had a few minor cleanliness issues which couldn't be resolved during our stay but we did receive modest compensation. One observation; the ladder style steps up to the mezzanine are very steep and not suitable for young children on their own and the beds up there are too small for fully grown adults or tall teenagers!. This is not addressed in the spec of the accommodation. We ate at a local restaurant, The Crown at Ampney Brook. Food and service exemplary.

Amazing place! Perfect location for a family holiday. The house has absolutely everything you need and more. We really enjoyed sea kayaking and paddle boarding with all Daves's kit. The sea is so close you can carry everything down to the shore. We really loved the hot tub and sauna and bbq area. The games room was a great space for the kids to hang out and play as well as the adults. We couldn't have wanted more. We'd wholeheartedly recommend this amazing house.

Such a wonderful location with use of the lake for paddleboarding and sailing……. Property was brilliant and well presented. Kate was always on hand to answer any questions and very responsive. Would be more than happy to return again.

This air BnB exceeded all expectations! It is even more beautiful than the pictures and such a perfect location. We were a bridal party getting ready for a wedding and only wished we had longer to spend making most of the beautiful space, lake activities and hot tub! Communication was super and hosts were lovely and so helpful! Will definitely be back, thanks so much

As a "mature" couple who've been coming to Porthgain for 30+ years we know the village pretty well, staying at a variety of self catering properties there. "Harbour Lights" is certainly one of the best - perhaps THE best we've stayed at. A small place is Porthgain so saying the location is ideal should be a given but for those new to it you are 100 yards from the pub and not much more to "The Shed" fish restaurant. Double that and you're through past the harbour and onto the cliff walks. Onto Ryan's 2-bed single storey property, it gives no clue from it's frontal aspect as to what lies behind - an extremely well appointed holiday apartment. In it's 2nd year as an Airbnb and still looks prestine. Well appointed and stylish, you can tell Ryan is a man of the arts by the way it's been furnished - cleverly & tastefully making use of the space. available. Ideal for two, or perhaps a couple with young children. Four adults for more than a weekend?🤔 We loved it and hope you do too 👍 M&Gx

What a fantastic host! Stayed here prior to getting married at new barn farm and every last detail was just perfect. The property was spacious, clean and beautifully presented. The host did so much to make us feel welcome and added lots of little touches which made the experience so memorable. I have never stayed anywhere that has been this attentive before and would absolutely return in a heart beat. Thank you so much for all you did for us on such a special occasion, we will never forget it.

Greenlands Barn is set in a gorgeous, peaceful location but within easy access of shops and amenities. This cottage had everything you could possibly want or need. The river setting is beautiful and the canoe an added bonus! We thoroughly loved staying here.

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Gorgeous cottage with a lovely fire and lots of wildlife to enjoy. Rob was a great host and left us some duck eggs and Welsh cakes which were delicious!!

Great stay - location was brilliant. Stones throw from the quayside where the kids spent many happy hours crabbing. Perfect for what we were looking for and a great base to explore both North and South shore Cornwall. Will miss the view out of the top bedroom so much. Allison was so helpful and responsive! Staying here was delightful. The flat was authentic and cozy and she took great care of us! Greeting our stay with fresh roses and our leave with scrumptious cookies. The view is incredible in the terrace and the street so quaint! Stay here❤️

Such a beautiful stay. The lake is very well stocked, wasnt short of catching. Fish were very clean and active.

Wonderful peaceful location that is extremely homely and welcoming, equiped with anything you may need for a lovely holiday. Rachel is extremely thoughful and gives a lot of local advice, which is great to make the most of your stay. We are a family of 4 and had a great time visiting local beaches and area. Would 100 % recommend.

We had a lovely stay, very close to the A30 so we’re able to drive around Cornwall, as we were visiting family. 15 mins drive from Newquay and it was just a lovely place to stay. The log fire was so cosy, we don’t have a dog but can easily see how dog friendly it is. An added bonus was the number of DVDs and board games, perfect for rainy days or to play in the evening! Perfect stay! beautiful little cabin set in lovely grounds. Was an ideal size for my wife and I and our dog, but would also cater for a young family with 2 cosy beds in a loft area. Our dog Belle loved her morning walks in the back meadow field, with a helpful mowed pathway around the perimeter. Great location for a short drive into Falmouth. Miss it already!

We had a wonderful stay at the lovely Cabin and its surrounding small orchard. We were able to pitch our Bell tent for extra family next to the cabin which was perfect. Lovely Peaceful location and really well set up. Great supply of wood for the fire. Cabin was cosy and clean. Toilet was fab (best compost loo I’ve used and have used a lot!) Short walk to showers (which were lovely and warm) and a sink we could wash up in on the small campsite on the farm. Kids adored the hammock. Great location on the Lizard. Only thing I can think to mention is that there is no cool box so if wanting to keep food cold best to bring your own, we bought a bag of ice from the local shop to keep things cold in ours. We will definitely be back!

Hideaway Cottage was all that we hoped, comfortable, lean and really well equipped. As a host, Louise could not have been more friendly, quicker to respond or more helpful. Everything we needed to know was readily available with great detail and kindness. Thank you Louise!

We stayed for a few days at this charming little cabin, and found a great place to stay. A short walk to bars and restaurants of Totnes and close enough to the moors for some exploring. We would be happy to stay here again.

Julie is a fabulous host. The welcome pack was so lovely, and was very kind of Julie. She explained everything so well and the stay was perfect, Bathrooms and living areas squeeky clean 👌. Didn't need to bother Julie for anything. The park was lovely and quiet and the clubhouse was great. The food was really nice. The beach was walking distance and a lovely time was had.
