Holiday rentals with beach access in Southport

Great stay at Dawn’s - easy check in and communication with Dawn was great. Really clean apartment with everything we needed and well located for travelling into Liverpool.

One of the best AirBnBs we have stayed in. The flat was immaculate being brand new - but very tastefully done. The apartment is on the third floor so there are stairs but they are wide. The street doesnt have great kerb appeal but inside everything was immaculate from the well equipped kitchen to the nice bathroom with a very good shower. Dale was extremely responsive. I think we might have been the first guests but everything worked perfectly and we felt very comfortable and immediately relaxed after a stressful funeral. We would definitely stay again. One thing to improve would be to widen the access to the driveway - it was a little tricky getting the car into the very narrow parking space. Parking on the street was easier but parking on the street is a bit limited - which is the case all over town in summer time.

This was our second visit to Lynne's place and once again we had a wonderful time. Lynne was a congenial host and the apartment had everything as described. A two minute walk takes one down to the River Mersey foreshore with paved footpath alongside, and Anthony Gormley's "The Men" can be seen en route. From the kitchen the view of the garden and over to the West Lancashire Golf Course is delightful. Parking right outside and short walk to train station were a bonus. We look forward to another return visit one day.

What can we say other than what a great find….. well that’s just the start, Deborah was a lovely host, the place was beautiful, spotless and very conveniently located for the beach, town and other local amenities. On top of that we could take our dog……

Great location, fantastic friendly and kind hosts. All you need for a break in Blackpool!

Great modern property overlooking the beach and with views of Liverpool and life on the Mersey. The dog loved looking out the French doors to the street and beach below….our garden clearly not as interesting since we returned! We chose this property due to the beach side location but was also easy to access Anfield for the Bruce Springsteen concert (we chose to Uber but train would also have been a good option). Off-road parking with assigned bay was also an added bonus. Our only issue was that we struggled to operate the (very modern) oven but our techno-savvy daughter was able to rescue us before we had to ask for help! A great stay and we shall definitely return again.

Kara's apartment listing was perfect for us. Excellent location, well appointed & spotlessly clean. We were staying in Merseyside for 4 nights and the location was excellent. Liverpool city centre is 20 minutes away on the nearby Metro. There are other public transport options also (literally) on the doorstep that can take you into town or can help you explore the North Wirral country park & Dee Estuary. The beach is a 15 minute walk away & Hoylake, West Kirby etc are also easily accessible. We also had a car & the off street parking is a real bonus. Kara's listing is a generous, homely & comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended .

I stayed for a month and all the amenities fulfilled that length of time. Angela knows everything about the area and has a lovely pup that will visit you. it's about a 5-10 min walk into town, good for after a big dinner or a few beers. I'll stay again for sure.

We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

Super flexible and communicative. Really grateful for that. The house is lovely and great location/super convenient with the EV charger too. Would definitely stay again.

Great little character cottage suitable for weekends away. Clean and tidy and very private. Wouldnt suggest for more than a a couple with young kids as space is limited, but very good value and a very comfortable space.

Paula & Doug are such a beautiful human beings so so helpful and they were always responsive. Got a massive welcome back with beers and white wine and all the stuff we’ve got, me and my friends really appreciate it. No landlord ever has done that before to me personally so thank you so much! The house was just perfect.

We have just got home from a FANTASTIC stay in this lovely house! We felt right at home and we loved it here! Plenty of space and things to do both within the home and out of the home! Everything was either walkable or able to get the tram! The hot tub was a hit with everyone kids included and it was a lovely evening dip for us adults when the breeze was there! The owners were always so helpful and had time to reply to my messages throughout the weekend! Thank you so much for this and I’m sure in the future we will return to one of your properties! ☺️❤️

2nd time stopping here, really useful for places we like to visit ie the grand national , Nice walks ,enclosed garden for children and dogs , Parking was a pain this year ,do to one car taking up 2 places in front of the house even though you can get 2cars there ,inconsiderate parking on their behalf , but the house is lovely will stop again . Great hosts

Decent location, park down the bottom Of the road and nice little parade of shops near by with mini supermarket and great microbrewery. 30 mins walk from the seafront or 5 min drive/taxi. 2 good sized bedrooms and everything you need

My family stayed here for a month while I attended a short course at Aintree University Hospital. One word to describe our experience? GREAT. We greatly appreciate Glen for allowing us to check-in early as we travelled from Malaysia with small childrens. Glen was also very responsive towards any of our questions. The house was squeaky clean and the amenities provided was complete. The location was also perfect as it is only 5 minutes away to superstores like LIDL & B&M and only 10 minutes to train station. I highly recommend this place for anyone for short or long stay.

We had a great stay in West Kirby at Janet's place. So easy to visit friends and family at the Wirral, while also having quick access to Liverpool city center via Merseyrail. Would definitely stay again when we come back to the UK!

What a wonderful, homely apartment which is very much a part of a family home. The views are wonderful and it so spacious and quiet. We will definitely be back ! Debbie and Chloe

As described. Great having a parking bay. We did book very late, but thankfully everything was ready for us. Good location, 10 minute walk to the centre.

Another fabulous stay in this well positioned flat. Well equipped, great position and off road parking .

A fantastic flat in a great location- 100 yards from the Pleasure Beach and from the Tram stop, which made it so convenient, but in a quiet residential road. We parked our car on the drive (another real plus in Blackpool) and didn’t move it again as we went everywhere via tram. If you buy the Tram tickets on the app it is only £10 for two people for an all day ticket, meaning you can get on and off as often as you want. If we are ever back in Blackpool, we would stay here again. We can definitely recommend it.

Fantastic place to stay in lovely West Kirby. Feltlike a real home from home, with everything we could have wanted provided for us. Lynn was great, suggesting things to do etc. Highly recommended

The apartment was a great base for our one night, and I think it’ll be fine for two to three days too. If there are five staying it could be tight for space in the lounge area, so not the best if you need to spend a lot of time inside, but if it’s just to sleep it’ll be fine.

This was my first time taking my granny away from Belfast and she couldn’t have been happier with this place: it was like a home away from home. It was absolutely spotless, comfortable and beautiful. Only a short walk from Blackpools main town centre, it’s in an excellent location. Nic was a 10/10 host, responding to all my queries and concerns. I couldn’t recommend this place more! Thank you so much - see you next year!
