This place was such a good weekend get away! This cabin is super private which we loved. So much wild life! and they had lots of fun activities to offer! Lovely space!

We came up for a small celebratory getaway after a small wedding ceremony held at our home in St. Cloud area. We appreciated that it was very dog friendly and also so close to Duluth. We were a bit unlucky with the weather as it turned pretty cold, windy and rainy, but were still able to use the hot tub intermittently and especially enjoyed the fireplace inside. There are also have really cute string lights setup overhead. It is a very cozy space. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, anything that was unsatisfactory was really just down to the weather which was not anyone's fault! Thanks, Chantel.

Our family thrived at Liz’s cabin! The river was perfect for my younger kids—calm and shallow in most areas, great for first-time kayakers. For more adventure, we tried paddling upstream, which was a fun challenge and a great life lesson in perseverance! Downstream and around the cabin is smooth and peaceful, perfect for kids. I recommend bringing a cooler with simple meal ingredients. I packed sandwich supplies but wished I’d brought more—vodka pasta would be ideal here! I made a quick run into town for spaghetti, but options are limited (as Liz notes in her very helpful guide). We also had dinner at Pokegama Lakeside—great food, a beautiful lake view, and an authentic Native American canoe on display! Liz has created a truly magical place. The natural landscaping, cozy cabin details, and high-quality linens made it so comfortable. Thank you, Liz, for such a special stay!

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

We loved our stay at this beautiful and very private cabin. Obviously the photos are gorgeous and we knew we were going to love the overall feel, but it truly is wonderful being there. The giant windows open to the lake view and surrounding woods is heaven and are the part that I miss the most now that we're home. We really liked the fact that the cabin has a lived in feel (in the best way). I was worried that it would be TOO perfect and I wouldn't want to touch anything. LOVED the sauna so so much and it was beyond amazing that our lab was able to come with us. They had all the kitchen appliances/tools you'd need and having life jackets to use was awesome. I think reviews are such a good way to gain feedback from guests so I'll just list a few improvements/preferences here: softer sheets, a scissors, and a mop/swiffer to keep the floors clean. This cabin was very very tranquil and quiet during the week which is exactly what we were hoping for. We'd love to come back in the winter!

Awesome host! Was only there for a quick visit with coworkers but this would be a PERFECT retreat for an outdoorsy family. Will book again!

This cabin is really nice. They have quality amenities. The owner was very responsive. It was a relaxing girls trip. The beds are really comfortable and all around very homey. 10/10 would recommend.

A very good place to base exploration of the surrounding area. Has all the amenities that parents with young children need including a folding crib, high chair, playground, and a safe interior space for them to play. Very well-appointed interior, fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom. We plan to stay here every time we need a place to stay around here.

This A-frame is to die for!! Seriously the cutest place. Very peaceful and cozy in the center of nature. You truly are secluded and have lots of privacy. We didn’t realize how far away we were from things but just a 20 minute drive to iron river did the trick if needed last minute things from a dollar general. You’re only an hour-ish away from Lake Superior — it was fun driving through the forest highways! We grilled out 2 nights at the cabin using the charcoal grill that worked perfectly! Host responded fast when we had questions. The bed was so comfy as well! The host has a captioned picture of the indoor fireplace in use but in the book at the cabin you’re instructed not to use it, that was pretty much the only bummer due to the weather being on the cooler side of 50s-60s but we cozied up outside with the fire pit, played games (lots of games and movies host offers) and made s’mores! It was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! :)

We don't have a single complaint everything was as described. The view was fantastic and the setting was as if we were in the middle of the wilderness. It was quiet and the wildlife was amazing from loons, turtles, fish and frogs to beaver, deer, mink, and a diverse host of woodland animals. If you are looking for a Northwoods stay rich in wildlife, solitude, and serenity this is the place. A paddle on the Bay out back brings you into a world that is hard to find in WI without a long hike into a national forest wilderness lake.

We had a very peaceful stay, which is just what we wanted. It’s beautiful there @ Teal lake. Victoria was very, very helpful with anything we needed. We will definitely go again.

The stay was amazing, I ended up checking in late, so it was dark. But waking up in the morning it was mind blowing scenery. The pictures don’t do justice on how pretty the cabin and view from the porch are. Very nice and clean. 10/10 would recommend.

Brandi and her place was amazing! Fit all our needs, close to our event in solon springs but still felt like we were in the middle of the woods. Great views of the water from the living room table. Very clean and tidy. Would 100% recommend!

We loved staying at Alana’s spot in Hayward for a weekend skiing the Birkie! The beds were comfy, the view was beautiful and we especially loved the fireplace. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful view, amazing cabin, plenty of space!

We stayed here for a snowmobile trip. Stacy was very flexible with rescheduling due to lack of snow for our first trip. There was ample parking for two trucks w/ 30ft trailers. The short drive off the black top as well as direct shore access to the lake was a huge plus. We found plenty of bed space as well as room to cook and congregate after we got home for the night. We will definitely be staying again.

This was my second stay at Hart Haven, it was so nice the first time that I knew I wanted to see if it was available for this trip. Emily and Derek are wonderful hosts! The home is always so inviting and homey. Very clean (and I'm a picky person) and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay away from home. So peaceful and relaxing. I will definitely be checking the availability of Hart Haven for my future stays in Iron River. Thank you Emily and Derek!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a road trip with two friends and spent two nights at Dreamwood. Our goal was to find a secluded place—and this was exactly it. It was a rare and unforgettable experience! Everything was perfect: we found ourselves completely alone, surrounded by nature—an ideal setting to disconnect, recharge, and take our time. The cabin is located right in the Porkies, so hiking trails are just a short drive away. There’s also private access to a quiet beach and the views are absolutely breathtaking—especially at sunset. Tom and Sol were lovely and available when needed. We’ll definitely be back!

Jesse’s place was excellent! This is by far the best Airbnb experience I have had. The place is beautiful and spotless. Location is great- right by the water! Jesse was very communicative and their guide for how to use everything in the house + local recommendations was very proactive and well-made. I feel like they thought of everything! SO well stocked. We would be happy to stay here again next year. Highly recommend Jesse’s place!!

My fiancé and I had such a wonderful time at this cabin! This area is so serene and beautiful. Very quick response! It was a spontaneous decision so we booked Saturday morning and received confirmation within 15 minutes. We were able to take out one of the fishing boats and rent a motor for $25. They have kayaks that you can take out for free. Our cabin neighbors were very friendly - they have rented these cabins for 20+ years so they knew all the ins and outs and told us about all the good fishing spots. Mike and Karen are very friendly and are responsive to any questions! Cannot forgot about Macy, their golden retriever! We brought our golden as well and Macy and Jax had a blast playing! I would 100% recommend this place and we will for sure be coming back in the future!

What a gem in the north woods! We loved the minimalist approach to these beautiful cabins. We had all that we needed and enjoyed the wood-fired sauna, cleanliness, forest views and friendly guests next door. Mo was an excellent host, so accommodating and a great communicator! We’d highly recommend ROAM!
