My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

The Airbnb advertisement for the house does not adequately convey how nice this place actually is! Most of the items in the house: furniture, appliances, cookware, grill, bedding, towels, etc. are of high quality and excellent condition. The interior of the house is open, spacious and beautiful. It has high ceilings in most rooms, and a vaulted ceiling over the kitchen, dining room, family room, living room, and foyer. Barbara and Mike gave our girls a tour of the sheep farm and let them meet their dog. They were also responsive quick to take action whenever we had issues (like tripping a circuit breaker and running out of propane). For an additional charge of $75, they warmed up the pool for me twice because I am not a fan of water temps in the low 80s. The location is beautiful and secluded, but you can get to Shenandoah hiking trails in 20-30 minutes or Walmart/Safeway in 15 minutes. We loved our time here and would definitely stay at Peacefield again.

This house is a gem! It’s our second time staying here and my family loves it! We have two adult daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, we love the pool, pool house with pool table and the screened in porch! All of us have our own levels of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is clean, has the little touches of home and Lois is a dream to work with. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for! We hope to return next summer! I hate writing such a good review because it will only be harder to book in the future!

Whether it's a big family or friend get to gather; you will have an amazing time at this home. I literally can't think of anything more I would want in a get away! Andy and Ling were always responsive and very kind. Thank you for the great time.

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway. The house had ample space for our group of 8. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the necessities to cook a good meal. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and hanging out on the big couch in the living room. If it wasn't so cold we would have loved spending time on the large back deck or sitting down by the lake.

Amazing stay at Lake Anna was perfect from start to finish. The house is beautiful and Daniel was always available to answer any questions. We travelled with another family and it was the perfect trip for our young families. Will definitely be back!

I can't say enough good things about Sharon's place. We loved everything! A lovely place to unwind. House was cute as can be! Clean and everything was provided. The pool is a super bonus. Just a beautiful place. We certainly hope to come back again soon! Thank you so much, Sharon!!

Off-the-grid meets modern amenities! This house has it all: tranquility, privacy, incredible outdoor and indoor amenities. We loved the pool and outdoor shower, especially. Although the last 1.5 miles are on a gravel road, which is slow going, it is well worth the drive. It’s convenient to the town of Louisa, as well as Charlottesville. All the bedrooms, the living room, as well as the cabana in the pool area, have smart TVs, the kitchen is well-stocked and the bathrooms are absolutely impeccable. By far, this is the cleanest house we’ve ever rented. I highly recommend this property.

Gustavo’s place was exactly as described! We had a lot of family in from out of town for a wedding and the house was spacious enough that we never felt like we were getting in each other’s way or anything. The island in the kitchen is magnificent and was our gathering spot for everything. The snacks and amenities left for us by Gustavo were wonderful and really appreciated. Thanks for helping us all have a wonderful week!

Absolutely phenomenal home and hosts, would return any time! Stayed for over two months, and they were consistently helpful, responsive, and accommodating from the first day to the last. I cannot say enough great things about them and the property! This place is the perfect retreat for any group, book it now!!

The house was great! We were able to fit two 19 foot bass boats in the driveway, and could have fit 4 easily. The ramp is in the same neighborhood less than 2 minutes away with ample parking. The house is clean, and back porch is wonderful. This will be our new spot for our yearly tournaments.

Our stay was so comfortable. Kofi and Josephine were super responsive and helpful. The house is homey and comfortable. Parking was excellent we managed to fit three trucks and our rental while our kids were visiting Location has lots of restaurants and cafes. We would definitely consider staying here again

We stayed here with our Grandson and met up with friends at Christopher Run. This house was the perfect location for us. The house was clean and was everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked with just about anything you would need. The AC worked great after spending our hot days on Lake Anna and it was especially nice to have a washer and dryer. Cathi was very pleasant and fast responding to any questions. We certainly made some core memories with our Grandson and look forward to visiting again. Becky

This is by far one of the most thoughtful and intentional airbnbs we have ever stayed at, and the location truly can’t be beat! Jon & Carrie did such a beautiful job with all the intentional details that made our stay so peaceful and relaxing. From an online welcome guide with all the ins and outs of the house& recommendations in the area, to a scannable QR code explaining how to work the gorgeous shower, everything felt so well thought out. The kitchen was so well stocked which was wonderful for cooking during our stay! We loved being less than a 2 min walk from the lake and enjoyed using the kayaks. :) The house also seems pretty accessible for folks with a physical disability, as there is a ramp leading up to the porch as well as a wide & beautiful shower with a built in, roomy bench. The screened in porch was also so summery, especially with the string lights! We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back :) Thank you, Jon & Carrie for such a beautiful respite!

We loved our stay here! Clean, cozy, great amenities, and loved the direct lake access. Kayaks were a plus! Everything was even better than expected and we would stay again!

Was down for the Va state bass federation championship for lake Anna and Jackie’s Home didn’t disappoint! The driveway accommodated 3 bass boats along with our trucks! Very comfortable and slept great! 😉

The property was just gorgeous!!! I didn't spend a lot of time actually in the house because of our schedule that week (we were there because I was taking classes), but I thoroughly enjoyed coming back to Gary's place to see the view and hear the birds and just the beauty. Thanks so much!

Kimberley is an amazing host! The Carriage House is in a beautiful location and had all the amenities we needed for us and our two dogs during our 10-day stay. We look forward to our next visit!

This Airbnb was perfect for a trip with 10 women for a relaxing lake get away. It was a huge house with plenty of space if someone needed some quiet or privacy. A well supplied kitchen — we were able to cook all our meals at home. The space had more amenities than we knew what to do with! And it was less than a ten minute drive from where we would pick up our boat rental. So convenient.

We were there for a high school graduation on the marine base so it was a great location for getting to the base. You can’t really see the house from the road because there is a house in front of it. The cottage itself is very comfortable and is every bit like the photos show. We would definitely stay again.

Oliver made it so easy to check in and out. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We forgot a toothbrush and coffee pods and home had extra of both. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper and paper towels,etc. and the beds were so comfy. We put the two kayaks in the back of our CRV and just drove slowly the two blocks (at most) to the launch. Lovely area to kayak around. We went to King’s Dominion one day and then to Fredericksburg for a movie and pickleball (the Picklr was great) Otherwise stayed at the house and enjoyed the porch and basketball. The fire pit area was great but unfortunately we weren’t able to use it bc of evening showers. Although, those evening showers enabled us to hang out on the porch without bugs bothering us. Oliver was so receptive to any question we had and always responded quickly. It was the perfect place for 5 adults to come together for a mini family vacation and just relax.

Relaxing, peaceful, convenient, and fun—words that easily describe this amazing place. We had so much fun spending time here as a family, enjoying one another’s company and recharging. Thank you for a great stay! We would gladly return again if we could!

Sharon's house was perfect, from location to layout. 4 bathrooms was a major plus. The amount of games for indoor and outdoors were perfect. Every detail was truly thought of! we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Laura's home in King George for about 5 months, and it was an amazing stay overall. The house looks exactly like it does in the photos, is well kept, has extra linens available, and is very cozy. The sunroom was great to sit out in, and it has all the amenities listed. Everything was functioning great, and the grill out back was a fantastic addition as well. The area is very peaceful and walkable. We had our dog with us, and we walked him every day around the cottage, where we would be greeted by the neighbors, or Laura herself. It was very convenient having a beach that we could walk to, and a restaurant right down the road as well. Laura was a great host from check in to check out. She was very attentive to our needs and assisted us whenever we were having any issues. It was very convenient for her to be right down the road, as she could physically come and see us if necessary. I will definitely be staying here again if I am ever in the area.
