Cottage holiday rentals in St Agnes

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

We loved our stay in this cottage! It has such a cosy homely feel and is equipped with everything you’d need! The bed was super comfy and it was nice to have a tv in both bedrooms and the living space! The hot tub area was gorgeous and a great place to unwind and relax, very private area! Shaun the host was super friendly and very responsive! We couldn’t fault this place - amazing value for money. Would recommend and would love to return in the future!

Our stay in Fowey was nothing short of magical, and this Airbnb made it even more special. The location is fantastic -yes, it’s partway up a hill, but the stroll into town is short, scenic, and lined with the most charming restaurants and harborfont bars. Fowey itself is absolutely adorable. The converted schoolhouse is truly one-of-a-kind. The hosts did an amazing job preserving the original charm while creating a modern, inviting space that’s perfect for entertaining. And the hot tub overlooking the harbor? Unreal. I probably spent half the trip soaking in it. There were even thoughtful touches like umbrellas to borrow, which came in handy in classic English weather. We did experience a minor issue with noise from neighbors in an adjoining unit, but the host was incredibly responsive and professional. They made it clear they cared and took swift action to make sure we were comfortable.

This was our third stay at Nancy's House. Here are some of the things that drew us back: snug but spacious house that feels loved and lived in, peacefully tucked into a farm where interesting things always seem to be happening, and just a few steps from exhilarating open spaces; lovely hosts. Oh, and the hot-tub is very nice!

Wow! What an incredible 6 days we had staying at Nicola’s place. It was for my partners 21st birthday and Nicola put up banners and balloons which was lovely of her. We both had the best time, it was both of our first time in Cornwall and we explored so much in the time we was there. Boscastle is an amazing place to stay as St Ives was just over an hour away, Marazion was an hour away, Newquay just under an hour. Even the local beaches and exploring Boscastle was so much fun. It really was a great location, the views, the sunsets/ sunrises everything truly was amazing and we will 100% be back in the future. Thank you so much for having us and as I say we thoroughly enjoyed our first time in Cornwall.

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

You cannot find a more beautiful and peaceful location for a few days rest within nature. Their homestead is so quiet apart from bird song. The cottage is very calm and comfortable with a beautiful log fire in the cooler evenings. The private garden and terrace you have has wonderful views and is ideal for eating alfresco plus a very roomy private car park. Bed is super comfortable with lovely high quality linen. I would not hesitate to stay again and the cheeky gorgeous Truffle Cockerpoo owners dog is very friendly and welcoming.

We stayed in the cottage for 5 days. The garden was like a small, beautiful paradise, someone has very green fingers. The tub and views were amazing. Inside the cottage was exceptionally clean, with all the amenities you would ever need, of a high quality. Great comfy bed too. Excellent location for exploration. We stayed at Blackbird Studio for five nights and really enjoyed it as our base to explore Cornwall. While the weather wasn’t the best, the house made our stay memorable. The views are really stunning and you have your own little English garden. St Ives and various dog friendly beaches can be reached within a couple of minutes. The house was even more spacious than expected and equipped with everything you need. Lorna made sure we arrived safely and was always on hand. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is very (very!) narrow, but we managed to get through for unpacking/packing and parked in the little carveout by the road on the other days, which was completely fine.

We had a great stay here in the village of Sticker. It is on the main bus route from St Austell to Truro, so was very easy to get to from the train station (which is next to the bus station). Steve & Sue were very welcoming and helpful, and the cottage had everything we needed for our 12 day stay. There is a pub and a village shop/post office a short walk away, so very convenient. We hired a car and found it very easy to get about as we were so central. It was lovely to come back after a day’s sightseeing to the peace and quiet of our cosy cottage (and sit in the garden when the weather permitted!). We would not hesitate to recommend Steve’s cottage!

Absolutely stunning! spent a week here and it's the loveliest little spot, small but perfectly sized for 2 and a dog. Absolutely lovely host, left little treats for us on arrival and had recommendations in the area but also not intrusive. The cottage itself is perfect, so homey and had everything we could need. we used the log burner every evening while playing one of the board games provided and it was so cozy and nice. The area is absolutely wonderful, beautiful views, path right down to the beach, and so many lovely walks right of the door, we did the majority of our daily outings as a straight walk from the cottage and watched the sunset from the beach each night. the photos really do not do this place justice, it is truly absolutely stunning and we would LOVE to return !

A brilliant place to base ourselves for a few days. The house is in a great location with two brilliant pubs (Plume and The Standard), a fantastic village shop and, of course, The Hidden Hut, all within easy reach. We also enjoyed Towan Beach and the ferry from Place across to St Mawes. Some great walks and places to explore from the doorstep. Thanks for having us.

Great place in a quiet setting. Walks to the beach possible and loads to do in the area. Super comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was lovely as was the sitting room (with a fantastic log burner) and outdoor spaces

The cottage was perfect in every way. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we could have needed for our short stay. We’ve stayed in St Agnes on many occasions as we love the area, and this is the best cottage we have stayed in. We hope to return again soon.

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location. Off street parking. Spotlessly clean , with a local feel and modern appliances. Easy to find and access the cottage. Cathy on hand if needed. Would certainly visit again and recommend highly to anyone else.

We spent a wonderful week at the Old Post Office in Gwithian. Located just a 10-minute walk from the beach trough the sand dunes, it was perfect for enjoying a morning swim in the sea, a surf session, or simply a stroll along the shore with coffee and cake from one of the nearby beach cafés. The area of Gwithian is very peaceful, which made for a truly relaxing stay. The apartment provided everything we could have wished for—a coffee maker, an amazing stove and oven for home cooking, tasteful and practical interior design and even a hot outdoor shower for rinsing off after a surf. On rainy days we appreciated the comfortable sofas in the warm cottage and on sunny days we enjoyed our morning coffee or afternoon tea on the terrace that gets sun from early morning until the evening. Just a short walk across the road, there’s a local pub that serves the most delicious fish and chips we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend James & Jodie's Old Post Office—what a gem!

Lovely stay in Fraser and Melissa’s cottage. A great place to relax after a day exploring local beaches. Cosy, clean and all the amenities required.

We loved our stay at this extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped holiday home. The views from the lounge and bedroom were amazing and made our holiday very special. St.Agnes is a beautiful place and we enjoyed walking to the village and nearby gorgeous coves. We had several lovely meals at restaurants within walking distance. We would recommend a fish/seafood take away from Levi’s. I could not fault this perfect holiday home and we were sad to leave to return home at the end of our 7 day holiday. The host Sarah sent us helpful information and we knew she was there next door if we needed anything. The holiday home gave us the privacy , peace and relaxation we wanted and we would love to return there again one day soon .

St Agnes is our favourite spot in Cornwall & we have always loved the quaint cottages on Stippy Stappy. The cottage was gorgeous inside & out.. Extremely comfy beds. Fully equiped kitchen and some surprise treats for our arrival was a lovely touch.. Thank you. Lots of cafes , pubs & restaurants in St Agnes. We loved our stay !

We had a lovely stay here for our ‘babymoon’ - I didn’t fancy the idea of flying at 7 months and the Cornish coast is a perfect spot for feeling like you’re in another country! Sarah’s place is exactly as described, but it’s also very quiet considering how close it is to the harbour and local pubs. Clean, comfortable, a true home away from home. Thank you Sarah!
