Kid-friendly holiday rentals in St. George Island

We came into town for a church event in Eastpoint and needed something last minute that was clean and conveniently located to there. This was the perfect landing place, and was exactly what we needed. Our host, Sandra, was very friendly and made sure we knew she was available should we need anything.

We enjoyed our stay! There were lots of games to play, and my family loved the kayaks and fishing from the dock. St. George Island is 30 minutes away and is beautiful! Thank you for a great stay!

We just got back from our stay & words can’t describe how PERFECT this place was. We have stayed at quite a few beach homes & this has by far been our favorite. The house and ocean is absolutely gorgeous. The hosts have provided everything you may need and MORE. My 2 young boys enjoyed the body boards, jumbo noodles, nets for catching crabs, and so much more they provided. They even provided life jackets which put me more at ease for my kids safety. The golf cart was a nice extra as well, we drove down the road to the nature reserve to see wildlife. The house was clean and had anything you may need during your stay. We went out each day and ate at a different restaurant and enjoyed all the locals! The host was very polite and responsive. We give it a 10/10 and plan to be back soon :)

When we stepped into Mama’s place we were immediately impressed with the decor and spacious setup. This little house has everything for a comfortable stay! Wanda and Brenda are very classy hosts! They provided for us some cold water bottles in the fridge, and other special treats which was a thoughtful gesture!! The ambiance is just awesome! The neighborhood is quiet and easy access to a bunch of awesome restaurants and beaches. We had such a great stay, probably overall the best of others we’ve visited. Communication with our host was delightful as she checked on us every step of the way! Excellent location, and beautiful scenery! We would definitely visit again!!

My family and I felt right at home at this place. It was so lovely, outside was adorable. Inside had everything we needed. Especially a fan of the big wheels on the beach cart made it a breeze to carry all our stuff down to the Oceanside. A very quick easy walk. Kitchen came more stocked than I thought with every pot/pan I could need. My 6 year old especially loved the outdoor toilet and shower. The outside “recreation” area also was fantastic. Highly recommend this place and will be staying again definitely!!!

We had the best time at Michelle’s place! Not only was Saint George Island beautiful, but her house was perfect for us and our best four legged friend 🐶 Michelle was very communicative and responsive during our entire stay, which is always reassuring when away on vacation and staying in someone else’s home. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting SGI ❤️

The host was very responsive and went out of her way to make sure our trip was perfect. The house is located within walking distance of the Blue Parrot, lighthouse, coffee shop, and Candy Kingdom. The house is also equipped with large flat screen televisions, surround sound, a super nice Traeger smoker and many other features that aren’t typically included in a rental. We had a great trip.

This was the perfect location for our getaway. The two bed two bath setup was perfect for two couples with lots of space on the living room and on the porch to relax and hang out. Everything looked exactly like the pictures and was as described. The beds are comfortable but on the softer side in case that is helpful for others to know. The kitchen had almost everything we needed to cook with lots of prep space. Just note that there isn’t oil or spices so bring those if needed. The beach is super close and it was easy to walk back and forth all day long. We appreciated the beach wagon and gear for our use. The town is a bit of a walk but we enjoyed walking and rented bikes to get back and forth. We had great weather on our stay so everything was overall pretty great.

Had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and in an unbeatable location—just a short walk to the beach. Having a Dollar General right next door was super clutch for grabbing snacks, drinks, or anything we forgot to pack. Would definitely stay again!

The beehive was the perfect stay for my wife and I's anniversary and it hit all the marks we needed. I wanted a quick getaway near Tallahassee, check. I wanted us to be near the coast, check. I wanted to be an exclusive house and not a hotel, check. And then I wanted to be able to explore a new area where we can shop and enjoy a small Florida town and not a major tourist trap, check. The room was very clean and modern and the setup had all the amenities for an extended stay. We felt safe and the area was very quiet even though it was very close to downtown and gave us plenty of choices to go to being between St. George Island and St. Joseph's Bay.

This was our second time visiting The Pelican's Nest, and it was just as comfortable and fun as the first time. I recommend this Airbnb for people who enjoy being close to the water and a quiet place to hang out.

As soon as we walked in the door I said, “This is perfect” . It truly was. The space was clean, refreshing, and well accommodated. We walked to everything in town as it is conveniently located. Donna is a great host, we will be back.

These units were perfect for our group of friends who came down for a bachorlette trip! The unit was spacious and clean, easy to get into, within walkable distance, and very nice for the price we paid. So much so, that we tried to book them for a future weekend while we were still there. Would recommend these units to anyone who is looking for something in Apalachicola!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean, nice, safe, and very quiet—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our little boy especially loved the fish pond, which was a highlight for him. Ricky’s wife, Julia, was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She showed us such warm hospitality and was so patient and kind with our son—he absolutely adored her! We truly felt at home and would love to stay here again whenever we visit Panama City. Highly recommend!

We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our stay at your beautiful home. Everything was incredibly clean and well cared for, which made it so easy to settle in and relax. We were also blown away by all the extra touches — from the selection of books and card games to the thoughtful toiletry items you provided. It really made the stay feel so welcoming and personal. Carla's place was easily the most beautiful, and fully loaded Airb&B we have ever stayed in. Carla really goes above and beyond with detail and thinking about the little things. A good example of this is she provided dish soap, a couple laundry pods, dishwasher pods, extra toilet paper, and paper towel. Airb&b's we have stayed at in the past we have always had to come fully packed with essentials as such listed above, it was a wonderful surprise to see that she had those little things covered. The condo itself resembles the photos exactly, and the view is beautiful. Thanks, Carla, for being such a great host!

The second story condo, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two older adults bicycling in the area on a short stay. There are two pleasant and private balconies. One overlooks the bay and the other overlooks the boat docking area. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the bay balcony for snacks, coffee and the big water view. Pleasant breeze and few annoying sand gnats. You do have the same expansive view from the inside as well, which is a nice retreat. This gated grounds area has several different buildings. All seem well kept and it was very quiet on our weekday stay. It was convenient to the bike trails we wanted to ride and the two state parks, Bald Point and Ocklocknee, that we wanted to visit. The internet access was adequate for us, we did have to reconnect occasionally. The place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay in a low key part of old Florida that is fast disappearing. Would return for another visit. Easy place to like.

It was perfect, just like the last time we stayed. My family will be back again!

The condo was beautiful and well appointed. Everything thing that we needed was there. Jenna was a great host and the coffee bar was a nice addition.

This place is conveniently located in downtown Apalachicola to shopping and local eateries. The place was clean and accommodating.
