House holiday rentals in St. Ignace

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

This has been my favorite Air BNB to stay. Everything was exactly as portrayed in photos. Very clean, beds cozy, check-in/out smooth, & we were able to use the pool & jacuzzi!

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Loved our stay in Michigan, we loved the privacy that the Airbnb gave us and the jacuzzi was so worth it!

This was our second stay, and Melissa was accommodating and flexible for us until we found a rental house. When the seasons change, she had the backyard cleaned up and ready for us to enjoy on the sunny days. We loved our stay, and would recommend for anyone!

Bill was the most attentive host we’ve ever had. He’s personable and communicates well and truly wants to make sure your needs are met. He met us at the cottage and did an in-person orientation of the home. I felt comfortable texting him if any questions came up later. This was a beautiful home and very well cared for.

The house was adorable and exactly as described in the listing, if not better! The house was updated, beautifully decorated and smelled amazing! Master bedroom was cozy and separated from the other upstairs bedrooms, which we appreciated for privacy. As other reviewers noted, the second bathroom is also on the main level but was nicely updated and spacious. The ferry is a quick walk and there are grocery and restaurant options within a short drive or long walk as well. Loved our stay and would absolutely stay again!

This place was exactly as described. It’s in a nice private spot with a beautiful yard but so close to everything. The house was spotless. So clean. Jessica was very accommodating with my reservations and communicated well along the way. The house had everything, including fans, for those of use that can’t sleep without them🤣 We LOVED that we were able to bring our puppy on our trip as well. We will definitely be back, we didn’t want to leave😁

I cannot say enough amazing things about this cute little hideaway. This is the first airbnb we have ever stayed at and were a little nervous about the process. Ashley made everything super easy and truly had thought of everything in the home. We traveled with young children and everything from the outdoor shed full of yard toys, to the indoor toy chest and books made it an enjoyable time for everyone. This location is remote enough to feel like a privaye hideaway but close enough to enjoy all the surrounding activities and be able to stop back for necessities I am truly thankful we found this gem and look forward to returning.

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Trestin was an outstanding host. He was knowledgeable about the activity our vacation was built around, and gave us perfect tips for timing, parking, and planning. When our vacation took an unexpected and unfortunate turn right at the end, he extended his hand to offer help was able to assist us in figuring out what needed to be done. We would reserve with him again upon our next visit.

Great place for our large family! Quiet, peaceful and very private. Backyard had a nice VB net set up and beautiful surroundings with the trees and some trails. Pool table was fun for all ages. Had a great cabin feel and ambiance, especially with the room with the bunk beds! Fun was had by all ages with the pool table. Internet and cell service were spotty and best obtained while outside, which was a perk because we were able to be present to each other rather than to the happenings online.

If you enjoy a peaceful place by the lake away from all the traffic this is a great place. 5-10 minutes from St. Ignace and Mackinaw City.

Had a great stay with our two kids (3.5 and 6 yrs old). They were able to share the second downstairs bedroom and had their own bathroom. The place was just like the pictures, very beautiful. Had tons of fun exploring the area, our favorite places were the Grass River Natural area down the street, downtown Bellaire for the brewery and candy store and ice cream store, King Orchard further north was great for the kids, and finally we spent two days at Antrim Beach to play in the sand and look for rocks. Cooked a lot in the kitchen and made smores on the firepit a few times. The only negative is that the house is near a road so although it is very quiet and peaceful, there are occasional cars going by which you can't see but only hear.

We had to cancel our trip last minute due to health concerns and heavy smoke from Canada. Jake was very responsive to messages and understanding of our health concerns. They were supportive and very professional in all communication and I hope to visit their listing later in the year. I have never had to cancel a reservation and deeply appreciate their understanding and respectful communication during our decision.

The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

Extremely peaceful, updated, stocked kitchen,deck and working grill. We enjoyed our time,kayaked and relaxed.

Caleb's house was just what we needed for our family vacation! Caleb communicated several times the day of our arrival and had the house open and waiting for us. He also checked in with me during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. The house was clean and very spacious for our group. Would definitely stay here again if in St. Ignace!

The cottage was so cute and has its original charm! Directly on the water and a nice fire pit to utilize! Just a quick stroll down the path and you’re at the beach. The cottage is well equipped with things you need on the daily. We just bought some groceries and were good to go! The location is perfect! It’s very close to Leland Fish Town, downtown Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, and Sleeping Bear Dunes. Dandan was a wonderful host! Friendly and responsive. Clear instructions. It was truly a lovely getaway and Dandan is an excellent host!

This place was tucked back in such a beautiful, peaceful setting in the woods. Space and yard were even bigger than anticipated, pictures didn’t quite do this place justice! We had everything we needed at Dawns space. Very cute area and close to Mackinac island. I’d highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Mike is indeed a great host. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to enjoy his beautiful property and look forward to going back.

The cabin was cozy and had great views. Parking is a bit limited if you have more than one vehicle but we made it work. Robert was great at responding to all my questions. There was also plenty of staples like salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towel etc. I would definitely rent this place again.
