We had a lovely stay at John's cottage. It's in a great position for getting out and about. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the cottage as we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding weekend. John gave perfect information and exactly where it was and kept in touch to check everything was ok for us. The perfect host I'd say.

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Ash hosted myself and my Groomsmen the night before my wedding. The location was perfect (right next door to the venue), the house was beautiful and very homely! The scenery was outstanding and a very relaxing outside setting. Ash was an amazing host and went the extra mile to provide as much convenience as possible. I fully recommend anyone to stay here. The stable house was amazing! The grounds are gorgeous, and we would have been happy staying there all day. Oliver and his family were very kind and welcoming. Percy the Peacock was such a character! It was great to be able to start our hike right from the house. My group highly recommends!

We had such a lovely time here - a beautiful location and little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home. A lovely private, peaceful location, ideal enclosed garden space for the dog to run around in and gorgeous views for yoga and meditation outside. It was lovely getting to know Shirley and Maurice too, really was a great stay. We’ve never revisited an Airbnb but are already thinking about coming back - Louie the dog loved it as much as we did 😊

We had a very comfortable stay at Marks little cottage, I only wished we could have stayed longer. All the amenities you need on hand including bread, milk and cereals to help you get energized for a days exploring in the beautiful scenery that surrounds you.

absolutely perfect spot for our overnight for Alton towers, disappointed we hadnt arrived earlier to enjoy it for longer but it was everything we needed, clean and well appointed and thanks for the welcome biscuits the kids demolished them!

Loved staying here this weekend, the house was clean and had a lot of lovely extra touches. It is beautifully decorated. Sally was helpful with questions about location, parking etc... Would recommend and would stay again.

I enjoyed a one night stay at Andrew’s place was lovely apartment with everything you need, was very comfortable and spacious, with supermarkets like Waitrose and Morrisons nearby which is very handy. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area, many thanks!

Lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. Very warm and friendly welcome from the hosts, Suzanne and Ian who were there to meet me and explained how everything worked. Welcome pack a nice bonus and very much appreciated after a long drive. Flat was beautiful, light and airy but at the same time, homely and welcoming. Very peaceful location and felt very safe there, something very important to me as a female guest staying on my own. Great communication and the few queries I had during my stay were answered very quickly. Local shop within walking distance for anything you might need and a coffee shop which looked very inviting and a must try venue for next time. All-in-all, a wonderfully relaxing stay.

Pauline as a hostess is very welcoming and great at communicating promptly. The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen. Pauline thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with fresh milk before arrival. The premises being on the outskirts of a peaceful village is tranquil and comfortable.

Very comfortable and cosy flat. Kitchen was well equipped and lovely to get tea, coffee, milk and biscuits there on arrival. The location was very convenient for town centre and handy for visiting local area. Sarah communicated well and responded immediately to our two queries. Her answers were very helpful. A most enjoyable stay.

Stayed for 5 days. It was a very cozy house. It was clean and tidy. There were shopping malls and restaurants nearby, which were within walking distance. The owner responded quickly and actively. I will stay here again next time. Thank you.

my stay was everything I needed, I stayed there 2 years ago and knew what to expect. Surroundings are so peaceful, loft has everything you need, walking distance to horse and jockey. Amanda always responds quickly if there are any issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.

We were really delighted by how spacious, and comfortable the apartment was. Max is a wonderful thoughtful host! There was a bottle of wine, and a pint of milk in the fridge for us when we arrived. This is a spectacular accommodation in an utterly beautiful setting. I recommend Max’s place. You will not be disappointed!
