Like it’s name, this quirky apartment was historically an old workshop which was once occupied by mechanics. It has since been converted into a stylish and modern apartment perfect for all. There is 1 bedroom and 1 pull out bed in the lounge meaning it can sleep up to 4. Based centrally in the historical market town of Leek, the apartment is located close to popular attractions like Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife Park and the glorious Peak District. This barn is not for everyone; it is no ordinary holiday cottage, but a retreat for the senses. A unique chance to step back in time, a place where time stands still. The antidote to the fast-pace of life, up here you will feel as though you’re in another world. This 17th century barn is a love note to its 1960s conversion, with all its quirky features still intact. There are no screens, the lighting is low and warm, you will not hear a sound apart from the birdsong. For some, it is heaven.
