A lovely little place to stay. It’s essentially one big room with 2 upper floors for the bedrooms but is more than what you need for a few nights. The location is amazing and there is everything you need in the house. Pizza oven is a nice treat

Fernyford Barn is the perfect base for a holiday in the Peak District. There are so many things to do and places to visit just a short drive away. The barn is very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for families. We loved stocking up on food from the local shops and meat from the farm itself and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Neil and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts and our little ones loved meeting the sheep and exploring the farm. We’d love to return.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous barn. We had a weekend of walks planned, so this was the perfect location for what we wanted to do. Lucy was very friendly and helpful. She provided lots of useful information and the barn catered for anything you could possibly want. We had an amazing stay and will be returning in the future!

Fantastic place to stay, lovely and cosy with the log burner and nice Christmas decorations. Fantastically equipped kitchen and with bathroom/shower and a bathtub too! Location is great for walks. Pam was very communicative and made everything hassle-free. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at Ed and Charlottes, the perfect spot to explore from. The cottage was spotless and exactly as listed with lovely scenery and stocked with the essentials for our stay we were even treated to a delicious bowl of fresh strawberries on our final morning. The place was easy to find and the prearrival instructions easy to follow and had really helpful information on local taxis and places to eat nearby perfect for our stay. Linda and Keith were amazing hosts and have created such a lovely Airbnb space in a superbly located Peak District spot! The barn was exactly as we had expected from the pictures and listing, with complementary gifts awaiting our arrival. They are also a lovely and responsive couple and were a pleasure to communicate with. Highly recommend and we look forward to returning.

Lizzie’s place was perfect for our family of four. It was quiet and peaceful, very clean and had all the amenities we needed, including to cook some meals. It is well located to explore the Peak District and nearby towns. There are also some nice walks from the property and lots of great places to eat nearby (e.g. Elephant & Peackock and Spotted Cow). Thank you to Lizzie for being a great host!

A most enjoyable short break. We really liked the decor and everything was pristine and to hand. The bed was very comfortable and the barn was set in a very peaceful private location overlooking the beautiful countryside. The welcome treats of Bakewell tarts, tea, coffee and milk were very appreciated too. The ideal location for our charity walk at Chatsworth so thank you Kathy…. we’re sure to return and can thoroughly recommend.

Wonderful place .We couldn’t find anything at all to be negative it was all very positive. It was quite relaxing and very handy for people visiting local attractions. Loved the decor and all the furnishings were first class .

We had a wonderful stay here for 2 nights as we went to an event at the NEC. It is in a beautiful location with lots of animals to meet and we particularly enjoyed meeting Winston, Wallace and Wellington the pigs! Both Tina and Martin were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was spotless, cosy and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The xbox and boardgames were a great touch! We will definitely be returning and highly recommend!

whoaw. What an incredible place to stay. Stunning cottage in an absolutely gorgeous setting with easy acces to many walks and places to visit. Spotlessly clean and a fully equipped kitchen with top-notch equipment with extra bonus of fridge and freezer. Jasper our dog was very well looked after and even Paula looked after him whilst we visited Chatsworth house. I loved the alpacas and their cute little voices. This little gem is a must if you vist the Peak District. one of the best if not the best Air B and B. we stayed in and we have been to many. Thanks Paula and Rob for looking after us. We didn't want to leave.

Thank’s Val, we’ve had a wonderful stay at your place. The wine, cheese, and crackers were such a thoughtful touch, The accommodation was excellent, and clean, with a lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy the sunshine. The mattress was really comfortable, even better than our own mattress at home. Having easy and accessible parking was great. Val gave us some fantastic recommendations — Curbar Edge was a stunning spot with beautiful views across the valley. We also visited The Chequers pub/restaurant and really enjoyed it — thank you for the tip! If we’re in the area again, we’d have no problems booking again.

We only stopped off for one night at church barn but it was perfect. Fiona the host was fantastic, clear check in procedure, incredibly helpful and very quick to respond. The accommodation was immaculate, very presented and had every amenity you could need. The location was very peaceful and picturesque. We’d love to visit again and would love to stay a little longer, I’d absolutely recommend friends abs family to check out church barn if they’re staying in the Derbyshire area.

Lovely place, very clean and classy, the kitchen had a wide range of tools and the bathroom was extremely clean and spacious. The hot tub and sauna were of course a nice aspect and they were both well maintained. The whole place was a pleasure to stay in. Scott was excellent at communicating, very proactive, helpful and just simply friendly. Instructions left around the house were easy to follow we had zero problems. Would definitely reccomended to anyone!

Lovely stay at Adam’s home. Really clean and tidy and left lots of breakfast bits which was a lovely touch!

This place is incredible, so peaceful. We had our two children with us the space was perfect for spending quality time just the four of us, fun and games in the garden in the day and peaceful evenings be the fire pit absolutely perfect will 100 percent be returning. John was also very fast to be helpful with anything we needed as far as giving me a heads up with traffic on my route, fantastic host

We had a lovely couple of days, the accommodation was clean and as described and Mark & Hilary very friendly. Kitchen had everything we needed, not that we cooked with so many pubs, cafes and bakeries within walking distance, the milk vending machine next door was an added bonus, the milkshakes were delicious! Pebble says thanks for the dog treats too, he enjoyed them! A fabulous base for dog walks and cycle rides.

We recently stayed at Atlow Mill for our Golden Wedding Anniversary. 6 Adults and 4 Children aged 3, 5, 9 and 11 years old. James welcomed us to the property and explained how everything worked and local places to eat and visit. Everyone had a super time. The Mill is located in a quiet scenic location, well equipped and ideal for a large family gathering. The hot tub was well appreciated as was the gas bbq. We ran out of time to use the outside pizza oven. All the children loved playing on the rope swing in the outside barn. Needless to say, all the family look forward to going again.

My friend and I stayed for 2 nights. Communication with the host was great. We loved the picturesque and peaceful surroundings. The cottage was very clean with everything we needed. Highly recommended.

We stayed 2 night to attend a wedding at Ctoon House. There is a very easy to walk bridleway to the venue, 0.5m walk so very handy lovely character conversion, very tidy, everything you needed Great hosts Highly recommend
