Kid-friendly holiday rentals in State College

The place was clean and comfortable. We appreciate finding a spot where we can bring our dogs. Host was super responsive.

My family loved our stay at the church! Beautiful windows and very kid friendly. My 2.5 year old loved the toys and the big bath tub. The view from the stain glass windows towards the mountains was beautiful. Would stay here again! Thank you for having us.

Everything about this stay was fantastic! Check-in was a breeze. The space is private, cozy and cute. It was exactly what we had hoped for. The beds were comfortable and we felt right at home.

The Cozy Little House was the perfect place to stay for our son's wedding weekend...it was just what we needed. Felt right at home. The home is well stocked and had everything we needed. Will definitely stay there again if we're in the area.

Great location next to playground that is good for families. Really nice layout with functional spaces for living room and den. Host was great. No issues at all.

The "Colorado Cabin" greatly exceeded our expectations. The only mistake we made was only booking the home for a weekend. (We've corrected that by booking a 4-day stay for the Fall!) Our hosts (Doug and Ashley) were quick to respond to our questions. The home was spotless. The place was well stocked from the bathroom (plush linens, all sorts of soaps and creams) to the kitchen (bottled water, more condiments than we could ever use, coffee). And to top it all off, a "Welcome" gift. We gave Doug and his team an unqualified "10" on a 1-5 rating scale. ---Mark

Booked a three month stay at this property and it was amazing! Very clean. Host was excellent with communication and so helpful when we ran into some personal issues during the stay.

Host was very flexible and accommodating. Much appreciated. Convenient to the fairgrounds. Nicely optioned kitchen. Only minor detractors were low ceilings (my 6ft 4 husband kept knocking it when dressing), and a noisey krinkly plastic mattress cover. The bed was very comfortable but the mattress cover made is hotter than we like, even with just a sheet to sleep with. We would stay again. Recommend. We liked the lighted off street parking!

always look forward to returning back on Mondays. Just wish I didn't have to go home on weekends. The town has a lot going on with activities like concerts ,car cruse in car museum along with the older pretty homes on the river

Host was very responsive & prepared us well for our visit. Perfect location for an out of town couple to visit state college or a mom with their athlete (like myself) to stay for tournaments at Penn State College.

The place was very convenient for us. It was close to our family. We loved the quiet.

Jeannie and Herb’s place was exactly what our family needed on our way to the east coast. It was quiet and peaceful, viewing the cows and chickens was a favorite of our kids. There were plenty of games and puzzles to occupy our kids and everything we needed to make a healthy meal was available in the kitchen.

Very nice space. It was perfect for my wife and I when we needed a quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle for a few days to just unwind. Off the beaten path, but not so far away that you can’t still find activities or food.

This spotless upstairs apartment was perfect for me while visiting friends nearby: a soft bed, nice bathroom with thick towels, and full kitchen made for a great home base. Very easy drive to Huntingdon, as well! I ended up needing to reschedule my stay and was thrilled how quickly Sarah put that into action. It's always cool to see a host has put together everything you might need in a pinch like spare hygeine items, too.

I love how it makes me feel like home. Great work area and the kitchen is my favorite place. Also really convenient if you have dogs cause there is some great area to go in a long walk with your pets

As always, another wonderful stay at Roxanne’s and Doug’s. We could smell how fresh the inside was outside the door. Leroy even said commented on how good it was as we were standing on the private deck. The gas grill was so pristine it looked brand new. We couldn’t wait to cook on it. Roxanne recommended things to do on the rainy days. Places we didn’t know existed out there. We stayed two weeks this year and the cost was right in our budget. You really can’t find a nicer place to stay in such proximity to Seven Points. Already counting down the days until next year…364. Thank you once again for everything.

The place was perfect! The creek behind was filled with trout and the location was close to surrounding fishing spots as well. Never needed to go more than 10min away from the condo. Clean and well maintained by Dan.

The wooded mountain setting is just relaxing and the stress of the world’s problems melted away during the drive up the mountain. I would strongly recommend checking in during daylight, especially if there is fog (or snow in winter). This is a ski resort and the roads are mountain ski resort roads and visibility can be sketchy in weather. Never had time to use the resort amenities but they were very close and looked very nice. On one of my puppy walks I saw a common area with a fire pit pre-stocked with wood. Wish I had time to use it. Booking was smooth and hosts were very responsive even after hours. E-locks made check in easy. Nice K-cup coffee selection was a life saver. Bathroom was good sized and spotless. Wife is a clean freak and didn’t utter a peep! A primary concern of my wife and I is sleep comfort. The mattress was more COMFORTABLE than the one at home - not the cheap mats you find at some airbnbs. Heaters looked new and took the chill off the rainy nights perfectly.

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend. We had the best time! The hosts are the nicest people and went out of their way to make sure that we had a great stay! The hosts kept us posted on all of the fun activities on the mountain. We loved the fireplace in the condo. We will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

I had a wonderful stay at Rose’s cabin near Blue Knob State Park. The setting was peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature—exactly what I was hoping for. The cabin itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully stocked kitchen. It’s clear Rose put a lot of thought into the little details that make guests feel at home. Rose was an excellent host—responsive, kind, and respectful of privacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into the Pennsylvania mountains. Thank you
