Had a wonderful week at The Retreat. John’s directions and instructions were very clear. The accommodation was larger than expected and was well equipped. It was the perfect location for us to explore the surrounding area. The bottle of milk and wine in the fridge were much appreciated.

A fantastic place to stay. There was absolutely everything you could possibly need. The beds were very comfy and the showers excellent. Simon was a great host - very helpful. The Hub next door was very handy - we enjoyed a cold pint once we’d arrived and even took home a cheesecake for later. The hot-tub was also a nice thing to have and was very private. I definitely recommend Simon’s place and would come here again.

I booked The Coach House for my 30th birthday for a fun girls trip, the house is absolutely beautiful and the way it is decorated and styled is gorgeous. James was great at providing clear and easy instructions for check in/check out. We had the most amazing few days exploring the Cotswolds, turning 30 here was the best! Thank you James for a great stay! 😊

I will remember my time at Middletown Farm for years to come. Everything was perfect. Spotless and well equipped accommodation in rural splendour on a working farm, with animals the host, Dordie, is very happy for you to visit and interact with. Dordie's communication and responsiveness is excellent, and she was very flexible with my last minute change of date to come and stay. She is friendly, approachable and generous with her time. It is entirely up to you how involved you want to get (or not) with Farm life, the (amazing) Sunday roasts in the main house, and any other guests. The surrounding area is beautiful, with walks galore and short journeys to Newent, Ledbury, Ross and into Gloucester. Stunning location, excellent host, lovely accommodation and, for animal lovers, an opportunity to interact with the various animals on the Farm. A little slice of heaven in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside.
