All in all a great unique place to stay for a couple of nights. The surroundings were very beautiful and Aurora's description of what to expect matched. We enjoyed the stay, there was a great local walk recommended by Aurora and we enjoyed that very much. The place is fairly private and we felt comfortable there, the unique bathroom was great, compose toilet was easy to get use too and the hot shower was great. fairly small fridge but more then plenty for us. We arrived very late and Aurora was nice enough to check up on us. I would highly recommend this spot for something very unique, comfortable and an experience to remember.

We stayed for 2 month and it did met our expectations and served our needs. It is a cosy place that we can recommend to anyone.

Home away from home. I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 months when I first arrived in the UK together with my fiancee and our 10 month old daughter. Susie ensured we'd feel right at home from the beginning with all basic necessities provided. The fridge had some fresh food and juice in it, a thoughtful touch that just shows how much the host looks after her guests. The property itself is nestled in the beautiful countryside, offering peace and tranquility, yet it's just a 10-minute car or train ride to the malls and shopping centres in Basingstoke Susie is attentive without being intrusive, always making sure your stay is comfortable while keeping any disturbances to a minimum. The only minor downside is that the dining room doesn’t get much natural sunlight—but that’s a small detail in what was otherwise a truly wonderful stay. We absolutely loved our girls trip to “The Stables”. It is based in such as picturesque area with some nice local walks. It is quite close to Winchester, so we did a couple of trips to visit the Winchester City Mill and go shopping. Tom’s place was very clean and well equipped. It had nice views of fields, cows and chickens on your doorstep and we even saw a barn owl one night! This was such an amazing find and I would definitely recommend!
