Kate and Dave’s house on Hess Lake was lovely. Very relaxing and spacious. Hess Lake has always been a home away from home, so staying here was extra special. Thank you Kate and Dave for a wonderful few days!

our family of five plus two puppies had a wonderful stay. we have stayed in alot of homes and this one was our families favorite so far. Great layout! the laundry room was great for me. Do plan for grocery pick up for main needs as once your settled its a drive to big box stores. And you dont want to leave! so mush to do three nights was not enough time for this great town and home.

Such a cute, peaceful place! The hot tub was wonderful, and the home was cozy and well decorated. Would definitely recommend, the hose was so responsive and so sweet!

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very responsive and flexible. The home was exactly as described. The yard was great for the kids to play in. View from the deck is beautiful and very quiet and relaxing. House was a great fit for our vacation. Bedrooms were very nice with comfy mattress and bedding. Bathrooms were stocked with a few essentials which is always a great touch. Living room / dining room area are beautiful and well designed to host a larger group like ours. We most definitely would recommend and would stay at the home again! Thank you Joshua for saving our vacation!

Loved this house! We had 8 girls. The beds were comfy, the house was stocked very well. I came over prepared with seasonings, garbage bags, and a lot of the basics.. and Paul had it all! Had plenty of towels & beach towels…The only thing we couldn’t find was a cutting board… quick Meijer trip! We LOVED THE HOUSE! interior was beautiful, a little dusty and bathroom downstairs needed a little cleaning but it was a 20 minute clean. I’m also very neat freak in that way and just did a cleaning when we got there. The property was beautiful, well stocked with firewood, was able to park 4 cars nicely. The sand down by the water was super soft. The upper deck (needed to wear shoes d/t a girl getting a splinter) the lower deck was Trex Deck & very nice. Hot tub was awesome. Overall, a wonderful experience & we all want to make it a yearly tradition coming back. Neighbors were nice and we were greeted by the friendly dog of a nearby neighbor. We used the home for an annual ladies only get away, it was relaxing, beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed including a beautiful hot tub, our host was very responsive to messages, I would recommend it to anyone and will consider it again for a relaxing getaway.

We hosted a group here for a bachelor party, and it was perfect! We were able to enjoy spending time in the hot tub, playing games near the lake, and kayaking together. We loved the booklet that Kelly had prepared with things to do in the area and also explained where anything we would need at the house was. Kelly was also very responsive to any questions. We had a fantastic stay and the house is beautiful!

We had a great time. It is a wonderful house and a lot of great memories were made. Fun for all ages! My husband and I are in our 40’s, two 20 year olds (our son and his girlfriend), a 16 year old (son), my sister and her husband who are in their 30’s and their 3 month old son. We had pinball tournaments, Godzilla was our favorite, grilled out, made smores at the fire pit, played in the pool and relaxed in the warm bath and hot tub. We rented UTV’s at Silver lake, went to the Ludington North Breakwater Lighthouse, went mini-golfing and go carting at AJ’s, ate and bowled at Stix, and walked around the shops in Ludington. The Coffee Coup’s Golden Egg is a must have for coffee lovers! Thank you, Carolyn, for letting us stay in your beautifully time warped 70’s home!

This House is the perfect summer getaway for all Families! The toddlers absolutely loved the beach and the water and Brenda was extremely accommodating to them! The nature and bird watching were phenomenal. The perfect mix of peacefullness and fun to make for the perfect family Vacation for any Family, Thank You Brenda!!

We had a great stay at forest and flows Airbnb a lot of history there for myself. I've been going there since I was a kid stony lake, and we'd always go to Silver Lake and walk down to the Lake Michigan, right there down the canal. We did that every evening. The few people that were with us that have never been there. We're just astonished by the sunsets. We were lucky to get nice weather. I got to play, I'm baseball diamonds. Get ice cream across the street and just genuinely relax. It was a great place. The neighbors are very friendly.We all had a great time.

Kevin was an excellent host! After arriving, he proactively reached out to make sure everything was satisfactory. The property was as described and within close proximity of the beach. Both checking in and out were seamless. I would highly recommend staying here!

This cottage is so nicely situated and comfortable I tried to extend my stay and it was already booked! Just as described, this little gem is minutes from a lake with beach-like allure that makes the cottage even more attractive.

This was the perfect place for a quiet getaway, and the views on the lake are beautiful. We fished off the dock and took the paddle boat out, and the house is set back away from traffic. There are houses on both sides of the property but we didn’t see neighbors during our stay. We spent most of our time outside but did cook most meals at home on the grill and inside in the well-stocked kitchen. There were lots of extra linens available and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t available. John was a great host and we will definitely return for another stay.

I had a really great stay at Michelle’s cottage! It was perfect for the activities we were doing in Mears! Also Michelle was a GREAT host! She accommodated me for my short stay which was very helpful and convenient for me! I appreciate the communication skill & the house was perfect for a quick getaway.

We were in Pentwater for a wedding and this property was perfect for our stay. Convenient to the downtown and in a nice neighborhood everything was as described in the listing. The owners were very professional and courteous, and the communication was excellent..

Wow... Such a beautiful spot to wind down. Came for my husband's birthday weekend and we couldn't have asked for a better spot! Sarah was super sweet and helpful. House had ALL the amenities we needed too. We COOK on trips due to food sensitivities and the kitchen was very well equipped! House was spotless and very charming. Located on a beautiful large lake. We would certainly come back in a heartbeat!

Tucked away in a quiet rural setting, it’s the kind of place that immediately makes you feel welcome and at ease. Everything about it is homey—from the cute nautical theme to the thoughtfully stocked kitchen. The large deck is perfect for a cup of coffee with birds serenading, views of wildlife, and fresh air. The fire pit is perfect for roasting marshmallows, stargazing ( northern lights), or just relaxing with a glass of wine and good conversation Highly recommended for a restful, charming getaway.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The location was excellent and was walking distance from the beach. The downtown area was also walkable but not as close and would not recommend to anyone health issues. The property was as expected. It was clean , comfy and cozy. Great for solo travelers and couples. The cottage had the majority of items one would need to cook and clean. The host Daniel was amazing. He was flexible, courteous and available. Daniel answered questions quickly. We had 1 issue come up but he addressed it quickly and made it right. Excellent customer service.

I wish I could leave more than 5 Stars, Elyse is a super sweet soul and very responsive, friendly and accommodating. The house was amazing. So peaceful and we enjoyed our stay so much, I didnt want to leave. our 4 year old had the best time of her life. I felt safe with her on the beach. the home is cozy and very well stocked and organized. You can tell that they put a lot of passion into keeping this place up. I have already told all my family and friends this is a MUST STAY!!!

I grew up spending summers in Baldwin on all of the lakes. For me, my experience was nostalgic and sublime. This lovely cottage has an excellent view of and access to Whalen lake, just outside of Baldwin. The cottage was cozy, had so many amenities, and offered my wife and I the perfect restful weekend we needed! Whether you're a couple that needs to have a weekend away or a family looking for a fun vacation spot. Laura and her husband have the best of both worlds. They're fantastic hosts and we'd recommend a stay at their lake cottage any time.

My family was happy and relaxed in this home! Beds were comfy, the yard was fun to play in, and we enjoyed walking into downtown. We really loved the experience.
