Family-friendly holiday rentals in Strobl

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

The place is lovely! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only point that irritated us a bit was the check-in and check-out times. Check-in is only from 4 PM.. although we were only able to arrive later due to work, but checking out at 10 AM is quite sporty.. We didn't really have this on our radar and overslept, so I contacted the host and explained that we overslept and would only check out around 10:30 AM. At 10:25 AM a man knocks and without further words he goes into the chalet to clean the hot tub. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, this got lost with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a medium mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always present for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located downstairs 5 km away in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We would recommend it.

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

A beautiful, large, comfortable, quiet well-stocked and relaxing space in a gorgeous setting, exactly like in the photos. Christine is an experienced, kind-hearted and warm host who greeted us warmly and took a lot of time to introduce us to the area. She even and drove us around to point out sights, restaurants and parking. We could easily take a 30 min bus right into Salzburg one day and also drive to a choice of beautiful lakes, in addition to many nearby sights and hikes.

We absolutely enjoyed the apartment with our two children (2 and 5). It is absolutely clean, child-friendly, and has really everything you could need. Especially the connection to the Falkensteiner Cristallo was great for us - we could use the pools and children's pools and the children's program. Just perfect for families We definitely want to come back.

I would highly recommend this place! Really perfect as a group trip. The place is very lovingly decorated and contains everything that is needed! We especially loved the warm barrel!

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

An absolute stroke of luck! We enjoyed our time very much and were able to unwind wonderfully. The great meadow with the many, many flowers and herbs behind the hut, the nice animal neighbors, the beautiful view, the great oven/ stove and not least Marianne, the wonderful hostess! We very much hope to see you again sooner or later!

Absolutely beautiful, quiet place. Very quick and thorough communication and the hut had everything we needed. The sauna is wonderful. We (and our dog) loved our week here and would love to stay here again in the future.

It was a very friendly welcome. Got good tips for excursions in the area. There are also many information brochures in the hallway. The apartment is clean despite the old walls from 1442. Well-signposted hiking and cycling trails that you can start right from the front door. Beautiful view from the beautifully landscaped front garden with seating. If we were in the area again, we would take the opportunity to book this apartment.

many thanks Gabi, had a great short stay in Salzburg with a few friends. Center is easily accessible by bus, quite neighbourhood and a SPAR and a bakery accessible by foot. The place was cozy and lots of room for 5 people. Would definitely book it again!

The house is located in a very nice location in the middle of the meadows and has a nice garden. The interior is spacious and clean. Gisela is a helpful and kind host. Highly recommended

Great apartment and johannes responded very quickly to our question! 30 mins walk but we found the bus 5 mins walk away, no 3 and no 8! Salzburg was amazing, will definitely come back!

Renate has already given me all the information you need. The communication with her was great and the apartment very sweet with everything you need. The location was perfectly quiet and a great starting point for hikes in the area. Even for my dog, there were treats, a bowl and a towel. Loved it.

The two nights following our Italian holiday brought an incredible amount of peace. An absolutely relaxed, helpful and super sweet host who was able to take care of a lot of worries and we could just enjoy ourselves, even the dog relaxed, like never before in a foreign environment :) clearly - we will come back! We had the very best time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

The stay was very calm and peaceful surroundings. You just hear the sound of birds and mountains look like they also sleep in the night and you get up in the morning with fresh air from Nature. 100% Recommended.

We felt very comfortable, the self-catering in the spacious kitchen-living area was quite possible, with the gastronomic coffee machine (1 coffee €0.5) we made friends. In sunny weather, the dining tables outdoors are very nice (beautiful views, good air, tranquility ...) The children accounts are throughout the yard area and experience direct contact with pets. The sauna at no additional cost was much appreciated after longer hikes to relax. I spent a relaxing time at the Grimmingblick hut with my children, grandchildren and friends.

The apartment is quiet and easily accessible, lovingly and modernly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt at home at Ann's first moment and enjoyed staying with her very much! Ann is a wonderful host, she always shared with us with questions, even an appointment for the veterinarian she made clear for us with her doc when our dog needed dogs. Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.

We were guests of Maria and Josef for an extended hiking weekend. I can only agree with the previous reviews - we had a wonderful AirBnB experience in the best sense, as it was originally intended! You will live on the upper floor of the detached house - enough privacy, but also "family connection"! Maria and Josef have a big heart, are very friendly, open and helpful and gave us great tips for our hikes. The rooms are spacious, super clean, furnished in a traditional style, you have a great view everywhere, the balcony offers space to eat. The location is very quiet and surrounded by nature, yet you can reach the village for shopping or the highway in a few minutes by car and can also reach more distant destinations quickly. There is a lot to explore in the area, from easy walks to challenging summit tours! We immediately felt comfortable and welcome and would come back without hesitation!
