Two playgrounds are not far away and there is much to discover, e.g. Hachenburg with the historic market square, the Marienstatt Abbey with monastery garden & brewery, the Westerwald Lakes District, Bad Marienberg with climbing and animal park.

For hiking or cycling, you have a perfect starting point from our AirBnb (20 square meters with private bathroom), but it is also great to just wrap up for a weekend. Please note: The nearest bakery where you can have a nice breakfast, as well as shopping, is an 8-minute drive away. Our cozy, modern furnished and quietly located apartment "HOME" with barrier-free access and walk-in shower is located in the state-approved resort of Steimel, by the forest and in the immediate vicinity of the Puderbacher Land cycling/hiking trail. In the village and within walking distance there is a butcher's shop with a mini-market, a doctor's office and an Italian restaurant. More stores are available in approx. 5 minutes by car.
