The cottage is located in the climatic health resort of Finsterbergen directly on the edge of the forest in a small bungalow settlement. Because of its location it provides an ideal starting point for hikes (Rennsteig). The leisure pool with mini golf and volleyball and a tennis court are about 200 m away.

Our apartment is located 800 m above sea level and about 14 km from the center of Saalfeld. If you are looking for peace and time to rest and relax, you have come to the right place. Guest house on the Schleusehof... enjoy nature!

Our guest house (about 89 m) is located on our mini-farm, which we run as a hobby. The Schleusehof is idyllically located on a small river, where you can cool your feet on hot days. The house sleeps 4 people (2 adults + 2 children). On request, we also have a baby cot for the little ones. The farm offers space to romp and relax. The modern decor with natural wood elements creates a warm and harmonious atmosphere. After an active day, the private sauna invites you to relax.

Timber construction trailer

The construction trailer made of larch wood is ideal for a romantic vacation for two. While lying in the loft bed, you can watch the stars through the large panoramic window or comfortably drink a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. In the small bathroom there is a sink and the compost toilet. In the building for the campers on the premises, you also have the possibility to shower and use a "normal" toilet.

Our FICHTENHÄUSCHEN is located in the picturesque Schmiedefeld am Rennsteig, in the middle of the biosphere reserve Thuringian Forest. After only 1.5 km you are directly on the Rennsteig and can explore the hiking and skiing trails to your heart's content. Also on the ski slope, located right next to our apartment, you can easily spend time.

Small apartment of about 60 square meters. It has a living room, two bedrooms (one with a double bed, as well as one with 2 single beds), spacious kitchen with counter and bathroom. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub. Guests have a cozy terrace at their disposal and the garden can also be used. A grill is of course available.
