Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Swannanoa

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for a few days. It’s a cozy home away from home that is comfortable and has pretty much everything you need to relax. The kitchen had everything that we needed so we didn’t feel any reason to go out for dinner. The host was absolutely amazing and we hope to return to this home in the future.

This home was the cleanest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in! It had everything you needed plus extras for the kiddos. Plenty of space for us and a good location. I would definitely stay here again. :)

My daughters, granddaughters and I were in Asheville for a girls trip. The house was just as listed. Everything was great about the place. The house was well stocked. There were games there as well. The only thing I would suggest with that is to have children's games (3 and up). Games were mostly for 8 years and up. We were very pleased with ease of check in and out. Whenever there was a question about something with the house Jon would respond quickly which I appreciated. I will plan on staying there again in the future.

This was the most peaceful Airbnb stay! We were blown away with how nice and cozy this little sanctuary was. The sauna, tea & coffee, wood burning fireplace, and comfy bed all added to our wonderful experience. Plus, the land is beautiful and the hosts and their kiddos are so nice! We would stay longer if we could!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brooke’s place. It had enough room for our group of 5 and was very comfortable and pleasant. The views from the back deck and porch are amazing as many have noted. The house was super clean and well equipped. Would love to come back and highly recommend.

It was a lovely home in a great part of town! Super clean. Very close to everything we needed. When some road work caused a power outage the homeowner worked very hard with us to get it back on. We appreciate the hospitality and will be back if we ever visit Black Mountain again.

Wow this place was amazing. Definitely going to be back! Honestly everything inside the house was SO WELL thought out. Instructions everywhere for everything. Mosquito netting - what a blessing in NC spring/summer. Claw foot tub?? Great way to start my day - a bubble bath surrounded by beautiful nature. "10 min to downtown" was SPOT ON. I visited a couple favourite spots and left my dog at the house uncrated without worrying about him getting too bored in the amount of time I'd be out (he is the bestest boy though, so ymmv) My dog loved the yard! He got a bit confused by the netting on the porch, and that was hilarious to watch. We were close enough to houses to feel like there would be help if anything happened, but the way it's situated, you feel like you're in your own private little world. It was stunning and felt very safe in this space 🖤

The cabin was lovely and we had a great time there . Communication with owners was easy and prompt. The cabin is hidden in the mountains , but easy to find and with good access . We felt safe . The cabin is 100 years old but beautifully renewed , without taking the feeling that you are in a traditional mountain cabin . We also enjoyed the nearby community and the kind people living in the area . We loved the stay and we plan to return .

This was our second stay we have stayed on both sides of the Airbnb and we absolutely loved them both it was peaceful and relaxing just what we needed 😊

It was lovely, the communications with the manager were perfect and we enjoyed our stay there very much. Linens could use a little refreshing, however.

This place is very comfortable. I was looking for a relaxing and quiet retreat. This was it. Even though it is next to the hosts house they gave me my space. In fact I never even saw them. The tub is amazing and the kitchen is well appointed. Top score. IF you are thinking of staying here you should.

Our family is huge so it’s really hard to find a house large enough to host all of us. Daniel’s house was GORGEOUS and so spacious, the photos did not do this place justice. The upstairs was beautiful with large windows that let natural light in. We did encounter a mama bear and her baby, but Daniel warned us every day during our stay to keep trash in and be aware of the bears. We were secured inside the house and got to watch through the windows. It was an amazing experience for the kids. The golf cart was a game changer. We didn’t have to move our vehicles a lot. The amenities were perfect for us and the kids. Two pools, mini golf, and pickleball was all we needed to stay busy the entire weekend. Lake Lure was closed, but that was told to us weeks before the trip. We will definitely come back when Lake Lure opens. 10/10 vacation!!!!!!

Josh was very flexible and responsive for a last minute stay. The backyard is beautiful and we felt right at home. Josh also gave lots of great recommendations. We really enjoyed our stay in Asheville!

Shealy and Eddie are wonderful hosts! Their home is beautifully decorated and well-thought out - perfect for a weekend getaway! The cabin is peaceful with numerous areas for reading or socializing. We loved our stay. Shealy and Eddie are very responsive and were available throughout our stay. We would love to visit again!

This property was literally Heaven on earth. The view is amazing, the property was beautiful, clean and comfortable. I didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back with our dog as the proper is very dog friendly.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The check in and out was super easy. The hosts were understanding, accommodating, and responsive. The cabin itself had games for us on a rainy day, was clean, in a great peaceful location. Would definitely come back!

I loved this cabin so much! It was so adorable and we really loved the privacy we had. The view was pretty unbeatable as well. The drive up was a bit tricky so glad we drive an suv but other than that, perfection! Can’t wait to be back!

Thank you again for such a lovely stay! Since we’ve stayed at the schoolhouse 10 times or so we could tell the property was definitely affected by the Hurricane, but was still beautiful! We could also see the devastation to the landscape driving up Ox Creek and Elk Mtn Hway. I’m grateful the old schoolhouse endured! We’re in the guestbook from 2011 saying we’d likely be back, and we were! We can’t wait to return. Thank you!
