Holiday rentals with a patio in Swarland

Very friendly and welcoming hosts. A really lovely little bothy in a beautiful spot. Perfect for a weekend break. We were breaking a journey north but it would be ideal for a few days walking or cycling. Thanks so much Marcelle and Alan and the dogs!

We had a super stay at Laura's place. A quiet area with easy access to town. Laura was a great host, excellent communication and local advice. Pet friendly and highly recommended.

Anjumunara’s place is very well located to quick and easy access to Newcastle City Centre both by car and Metro, and also the A1 and A69 for access to the wider Northumberland area. On arrival check in was easy, and having off street parking right outside the annex was excellent. We experienced no noise at all during our stay and the area is very quiet. Everything inside was as described and spotlessly clean. The kitchen has everything you need and we found the bed very comfy. We enjoyed a lovely stay in Newcastle thanks to Anjumunara’s place.

The perfect place! We are often so disappointed with the lack of effort put into places we've stayed, and it was such a dream to find Sara's place totally exceeded expectations! It was cosy, clean, had lovely decoration, even homemade cookies on arrival. It had everything we needed and the patio area in the garden was gorgeous. For once it actually felt worth the money, we could have stayed a week! It felt like sara really cared about putting a personal touch into the room. Thankyou 🥰

Fabulous apartment in a fabulous location. Spacious and tastefully decorated. Lovely little garden with beautiful roses, overlooking the river. Lots of parking. Pub overlooking a marina only 5 mins walk away. Great pubs, bakeries and restaurants 5 mins drive away in the quirky and atmospheric Ouseburn area. the quayside a short walk. Jordan was very responsive. It was our son’s wedding and he kindly left a bottle of fizz. Highly recommend - 5 star all round. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely weeks stay. The flat was lovely and homely, very well equipped, extremely comfortable bed and very clean. Good recommendations from Host of places to visit which was useful. Brilliant to have off road parking and be able to walk into Tynemouth. Will most certainly be back. Thank you

Miriam is an excellent host! She was so helpful with recommendations on the local area and how to get around. Her apartment was spotless, looked just like the photos and felt so at home. She replied to messages so quickly and did all she could to help. When we come to Newcastle again Miriam and her apartment will be the first place we look for ☺️

Great place to stay for a few days while working in Cramlington. The welcome goodies on arrival were a very nice surprise.

We had not been to the area before but were delighted with the accommodation and with Cullercoats. The cottage was stylish and luxurious, ticking all the boxes for a really comfortable bed, great shower, well-equipped, excellent kitchen and everything you needed for a short stay or a longer one. The upstairs ensuite bedroom had a lovely sea view and was really peaceful. The downstairs double room and separate bathroom were practical as we had family visiting. The neighbourhood was quiet and friendly and the location was superb - the cottage was minutes from the beach, a small supermarket and the Metro. You could walk from the door into Whitley Bay or Tynemouth. The beach was excellent and we swam in the sea. The coastal pathway between Whitley Bay and North Shields with its separate cycle lanes will be a wonderful asset and parts of it are already completed. We settled in really well and very quickly and were a bit sad to leave. Thank you to Vikki.

The barn was beautiful and full of little touches. Pam was an excellent host and was very friendly. She even baked us shortbread whilst we were there! We loved the peace and quiet yet we could get to Alnwick within 10 minutes. A fantastic break. Pam has put together a folder with recommendations for food and drink and this was especially useful. Would love to stay again.

Pretty accommodation in central location. Host very helpful and quick to respond and sort out a small issue. House very well presented and spotlessly clean. Host provided wealth of information on the local area too. Highly recommend for stay in the lovely historic town of Alnwick. Thank you

What a fantastic find to base ourselves. Close to amenities and an easy walk into town. We are regular visitors to Northumberland and would love to return. Communication with Paul was fab and check in easy. House was lovely, comfortable and clean. My only negative is would love a vacuum cleaner to be available as the owner of two dogs we like to vacuum on a daily basis to make sure we leave the place as spotless as we find it. Would definitely love to return.

Fantastic place - one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Immaculately presented and in a quiet farm location adjacent to some woodlands which were great for walking. Perfect for anyone seeking a relaxing and peaceful break. Jane was a fantastic host who responded quickly to our messages. The welcome pack and information supplied for visitors were excellent.

beautiful place, pristine throughout, everything you need, kitchen excellent, shower beautiful, gorgeous rooms. very comfortable. 15 minutes to coast, 30 mins to Cheviots with amazing hikes. A beautiful stay.

The location is beautiful with views down the coast to Lindisfarne from the main bedroom, and a very quiet beach just 10 mins walk. The pictures don't do the place justice - the rooms are huge and well appointed. A great location for a few days enjoying the beauty of North Northumberland

Me, husband & and dogs had a wonderful week stay @ The Folly & WOW this place certainly does not disappoint 😊a beautiful tranquil getaway tucked in the Middleton estate which provides excellent opportunity for lovely walks either in the woods/fields or round the lake. You are greeted every morning by enthusiastic birdsong and are treated to beautiful sunsets off the balcony. There are many lovely places to visit near & further a field you are spoilt for choice but a great location for Bamburgh & Lindisfarne. Dale was the perfect host & always responded promptly when asked a question 😊I would certainly recommend thank you ❤️

Rod was a fantastic host, clear instructions and very friendly. The apartment was very clean and really spacious. The beds are super comfy and we all slept well. It was a perfect location easy to get into town but quiet when we got back. Our stay was perfect from the first communication to the personalised white board message. Thank you

Lovely clean and well presented accommodating including a well stocked biscuit tin. Kitchen was very clean and as was the rest of the flat and the flat and the walk-in shower/bathroom was very easy as was the shower, with great water pressure. Finally, all within a stones throw of a host of restaurants.

We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend celebrating with family who live locally. The apartment was perfect, great location, clean, and just want we needed. The hot tub was a complete win with our children. The courtyard is private and a real sun trap. We will be back.

Spotless, uncluttered and perfect for our overnight stop.

The Waiting Rooms was a delightful place to stay- spacious, comfortable, homely and well appointed. Its location was perfect for exploring Northumberland with shops, restaurants and parks close by. Richard was a wonderful host, welcoming us on arrival and providing us with great suggestions. When there was a minor issue, he came over to help immediately and nothing was any trouble. He was a pleasure to deal with.

Elaine’s apartment was ultra modern, very clean and well presented. The bathroom is fabulous beautiful freestanding bath and fantastic power shower. We had a welcome pack which was absolutely lovely, made up of local products. It’s well placed for exploring the local area’s. Holy Island / Bamburgh castle/ Seahouses are all within an hour.

Great cottage in a lovely location. Close to lovely coastal walks, river and castles. There are some wonderful pubs and restaurants close at hand including The Masons arms, The Hermitage and Sun Inn. Bertrams bistro and cafe is outstanding. Owners very responsive to questions.

This is a really lovely flat, located directly in front of Cullercoats bay. The view out of the living room bay window in the morning is absolutely fabulous. The flat feels really spacious, with two double rooms and a single. One of the double rooms is located downstairs from the main part of the flat (so at lower ground floor level), and the other is at the rear and has the en-suite. All the rooms felt nice and big and the whole place was lovely and clean. The kitchen is well provisioned with everything we needed during our stay. It's very easy to find the place, with a lockbox containing the key. Parking is available right outside, with a parking permit provided with the house. There are loads of interesting places to explore in the local area, and the beaches at Cullercoats, Longsands and Whitley Bay are great to play on. We wouldn't hesitate to come and stay here again if it's available when we next visit Tynemouth.
