Cozy log cabin by Lake Sommen. Excellent for those of you who want to get out to the quiet and unwind from everyday stress. Quiet location with the wild nature around you. 150 meters behind the cottage is a barbecue area and a beautiful view of Lake Sommen. Nice forest areas with walking paths and hiking trails for mushroom and berry picking. Great chance to see a lot of wildlife such as deer, moose, fox and even sea eagle. 500 meters walk to the steamboat harbor, swimming area and fishing.

The house was renovated in 2017 and impresses our guests with its interior design. Here, solo travelers, couples and families alike feel comfortable. There is also the possibility for befriended travelers to rent the neighboring beach cabin and Kilstrand house at the same time and thus be on the go with friends and still maintain their retreat option. The stay here is described by guests as fantastic, beautiful and soothing.
