From the beach it is not far to Geiranger or Hellesylt/Urc, and about 20 minutes from Ekornes Outdoor Pool. 200 meters to the ski lift/100m to the lake

The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).
