In the middle of the natural & vegetable garden of the Spicher family lies this small oasis, surrounded by chickens in the old village center of the wine-growing village of Schinznach.

Die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel nehmen hier mehr Zeit in Anspruch für eine Reise.

What a view! This was such a peaceful home to stay in. It was perfect for our family. We cooked a few dinners at the house and had a few dinners. Our host recommended renting a car as local bus doesn’t always run when you need it. I would recommend renting a car for this location as uber isn’t always available and it’s a hike up the mountain with luggage. We would definitely stay here again.

We immediately felt comfortable in the villa, after the wow effect when entering. The contact with the host was also sympathetic and accommodating. Despite bad weather, you could use the pool and hot tub. The gym is superbly equipped - we were busy ^^ also a big shout out to the cleaners, everything was sparkling clean and the bedrooms were very nicely prepared.

The area was close to the Baden train station too, making it easy to commute to elsewhere. The view was also really great and we look forward to going back to the place for a good rest everyday 😊

Judith was very welcoming and informative. While we were on the move constantly, the last evening we had a wonderful conversation for hours with Judith. Her place was in a quiet neighborhood and with us bustling about the countryside and during a European Racquetball tournament, coming back to her place late every night ( 6 nights) the calmness of her place helped us reset for each days new adventure. I loved Enrique's place. It is located in a beautiful residential neighborhood that can be reached in 20 minutes by tram from the city center. I stayed for two nights and there was no noise at all, what allowed me to rest after a busy trip. Everything was clean and new. He provided clear instructions concerning both the location of the building and the check-in procedures. It is totally worth the price, especially considering how expensive accomodations in Zurich can be. Definitely would stay again :).
