It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. Showa no Yakata is located in the center of Takayama City. It is a new Japanese garden villa built by Chinese and Japanese designers. It consists of two buildings, A and B. The floor heating system is laid in every corner of the room, and the whole house is at a constant temperature of around 23 degrees in all seasons. It is only a minute's walk from the largest supermarket and drugstore in the city, and Starbucks, izakaya, and ramen shops are also within walking distance, making life very convenient. Building B has a living area of approximately 80 square meters, with a Japanese-style courtyard and a free parking space outside This building has a Western-style bedroom, a Japanese-style tatami bedroom, and a Japanese-style tea room.The tea room is equipped with a Zen cushion and a singing bowl, a quiet space for travelers to return to their inner selves and take care of their souls. The open kitchen and dining room are equipped with a full range of high-end kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, which complement the unique ingredients of the mountains. We renovated an old house and finished it with a modern Japanese-style interior.
