Showa no Yakata is located in the center of Takayama City. It is a new Japanese garden villa built by Chinese and Japanese designers. It consists of two buildings, A and B. The floor heating system is laid in every corner of the room, and the whole house is at a constant temperature of around 23 degrees in all seasons. It is only a minute's walk from the largest supermarket and drugstore in the city, and Starbucks, izakaya, and ramen shops are also within walking distance, making life very convenient. Building B has a living area of approximately 80 square meters, with a Japanese-style courtyard and a free parking space outside This building has a Western-style bedroom, a Japanese-style tatami bedroom, and a Japanese-style tea room.The tea room is equipped with a Zen cushion and a singing bowl, a quiet space for travelers to return to their inner selves and take care of their souls. This is a private rental Japanese house with 1 bedroom that can accommodate 4 people. The building is a Japanese-style building carefully crafted by a Hida carpenter. We renovated an old house and finished it with a modern Japanese-style interior. As it is an annex of■ "Soromachi Sento Taka-no-Yu Paradise", you can enjoy a self-service ruiyu in the carbonated bath, medicated bath, open-air bath, water bath, and the recently popular Finnish-style wood sauna. It is in a great location about a 10-minute walk to the old town, morning market, night downtown, and convenience stores.

It quietly stands protected by the stone walls of a temple built by the lord of Takayama Castle 500 years ago. In front of it, the Enako River flows, adorned with beautiful cherry blossoms in spring and vibrant autumn foliage, offering a serene townscape that transitions from a merchant's town to a samurai's town on slightly elevated land.

Opened on October 1, 2016!(The second store, Makotoya Ohjin, opened in May 2024.) It is a traditional Japanese house in a very convenient location. It is about 3 minutes on foot from Takayama Station and about 5 minutes on foot from the old town. When you enter the house from the front entrance, you may feel as if you are in an old Japanese house. You can also enjoy the "horigotatsu" and "open-air bath". A historical old house lodge "Kusanoniwa"

Kusa no Niwa is a traditional Japanese-style house with a courtyard and corridors that was built more than 130 years ago. The entire house with a size of 100 square meters will be lent privately to a single group with a maximum capacity of 6 persons. You will find a fusuma, a sliding door with a paper panel, painted by a famous Japanese Painter, which can be also found in the Taue’s House, an Important Cultural Property, located in Nyukawa Town.
