Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Tavronitis

Litsa kindly waited for me in the evening even though my flight was late. She showed me the apartment and I got the key. The apartment was clean and a good size. I got help from Litsa in planning my holiday and ordering a taxi. The Koum Kapi area was wonderfully peaceful, but interesting. The only downside was that the noise from the other rental apartment behind the wall was loud. Fortunately, the tenants understood this and quieted their noise. I enjoyed my visit.

Very nice home and location very nice, walkable to harbor and old town which was very nice! Lots of restaurants! The house was very clean and comfortable and really pretty view of the sea from living room area. The layout was very nice as bathroom on floor of living are and second floor with bedrooms with full bath very nice, lots of room!! My only complaint was, in my opinion, the portrait over master bed was very provocative and also, in my opinion, offensive being a female. Don’t understand why there must be naked pictures of female. This really offended me and can’t understand why??? Laura Rehm

What a comfortable stay we had at Judy and Mike’s beautiful Apartment Francesca! Suited our needs very well indeed. Fabulous location & views. Loved the private patio and relaxing by the pool. Judy and Mike are indeed ‘Super Hosts’, nothing was too much trouble. Recommended some fabulous taverna’s. It was a pleasure meeting them and their lovely dogs! Why we loved the location: Plenty of walks from the doorstep. Vamos only a short distance with excellent taverna’s and a great coffee shop next to the tourist office in Vamos Old Town. A short drive to Kalives which has a beautiful beach and seafood taverna’s on the beach front. Look forward to our return and would love to stay longer next time! Great experience!! We stayed at this wonderful Airbnb and our expectations were really exceeded. The place was spotless, comfortable and very well cared for – but what really made the difference was the staff. From the first moment, we were greeted with kindness, a smile and authentic hospitality. They were always available for whatever we needed, willing to help with joy and good mood. You didn't just feel like a visitor – you felt like a guest! The feeling of warmth and respect they showed us made our stay truly unforgettable. Such service is rare and deserves to be recognized. Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Had a wonderful stay! Konstantinos is super responsive and helpful. I was lucky enough to meet him and his partner the day before I left as they came to stay next door and they were both the most lovely and friendly people ever. In terms of the place itself: raki and water in the fridge to welcome me on arrival. You have to park in the disused factory a street away but that’s no problem as it’s a short walk. The room itself is equipped with all you could need and is clean. The shower is particularly hot and powerful! The village is tiny so this is a good place for anyone wanting something a bit more local and peaceful. It’s well placed for travelling around to various parts of the north west - I did a lot of that (you do need a car here) and this was a good starting point for trips. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and stay there: I felt really welcome and it was nice to be away from the crowds.

The place was great, an easy drive to Chania, Kissamos, and other little villages along the coast. The bed was comfortable and I loved that I was able to do laundry during my stay. There was a bowl of fresh fruit and some beers in the fridge upon my arrival which was a nice touch. Be aware the driveway is steep and narrow, it was nice to have a spot to park my car, just took some getting used to going up and down. I would definitely recommend this place!

Desiree was an impeccable accommodation. The place was everything we could have dreamed of and more…location, decor & special touches were top notch. The host Maria was responsive, and her helper Manousos was the nicest man who met us to provide the keys and showed us the place. We loved that this place also comes with parking. Maria’s mom had put together 3 containers of her chicken and potatoes for my family upon arrival. We were also treated with a bottle of wine, snacks, fruits, and bottled water. A water gun was left for our son. We would definitely stay again on our next visit to Chania.

We enjoyed 2 day stay and host is very nice and they kept lot of stuff in the house to feel like our own home

This place was super cute and very convenient in a area in town that is close to everything but not loud at night and less touristy. I would definitely recommend it and he was very responsive as a host. Every time I call he was there right away and answered right away. The place is also very attractive.

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

The hosts were warm and generous like we’ve never experienced. In addition to the stunning home, they did little things you don’t expect (like olive oil, tsipouro and wine from their orchards). The location is stunning with a view of sunrise AND sunset. We went off season, so the award winning butcher at the bottom of the hill was a big plus, as was the nice grocery store. The top of the bluff to the home would be a challenge for a car larger than our VW T-ROC. Don’t miss the church and WWII War Memorial within a short walk. It’s rare that what we expected was exceeded by what we experienced. This is likely the best property in Platanias with awesome hosts. Book now!!

Had a lovely stay at Elina's beautiful home. Town is just walking distance away, and there are plenty of restaurants around the area - close to the bus station too! Apartment is spacious, and has all the amenities you might need; Elina was a great host, and gave many helpful recommendations of what to do and see around the area. Would definitely stay again - thank you!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

The apartment, its location, and the hosts’ hospitality are simply impressive. The room had everything we needed - even sun hats, beach towels, and slippers. A separate crib was provided for our son. The apartment also came with a juicer, toaster, coffee machine, coffee, tea, and plenty of food. However, the place is better suited for couples without small children. Our 1-year-4-month-old son constantly wanted to go up and down the stairs (which isn’t very safe) or out onto the balcony. Still, he managed to enjoy the beautiful views and woke up saying ‘wooow.’ 😁 The water at the beach is perfect for small children and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful vacation! Nearby, we discovered a lovely restaurant called Halepa with incredible sunsets and delicious seafood - highly recommended.

This Airbnb is just like the photos and worth the distance from Old Town (about 0.4 miles). The terrace wraps around the entire flat and has many seating options in sunshine and in shade. It’s surrounded by beautiful, well-cared for plants with a stunning view of the Sea of Crete and of Chania itself. You can take the stairs or there is an elevator. The hostess left some local treats for us as well as a lovely bouquet of flowers! Absolutely top notch! There is also air conditioning if the fresh air is too warm. The hostess was friendly and responsive. This was the best of 4 Airbnb’s we stayed in throughout Europe. The only thing to note is that the electricity is only on when the card is in the holder by the door. So, if you leave with the dryer or dishwasher running or charging devices, they will pause until you return.

The flat was perfect, especially if you have a rental car. It was a great base to explore Crete, enjoy the proximity from Chania, and come back home by the end of the day. It's very spacious and has a home feeling, very well equipped, extra clean. We were even able to cook some nice food in the oven. Definitely worth a stay, keep in mind it is not in the city center though.

Our stay here was absolutely fantastic! Aggelos is extremely friendly, helpful, and responsive. He provided recommendations for restaurants and things to do. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed for our stay. The place is very close to the downtown area with many shops, restaurants, and bakeries. It was also a quick walk to the bus stop. We could not recommend this place enough!
