Our shepherd’s hut ‘De Lachende Specht’ is tucked away in the woods, offering peace and privacy. From here, you can walk or cycle straight into nature: to nearby sand dunes, lovely villages or wide open landscapes. The lively city of Breda is just 15 minutes by bike. The accommodation has a bathroom, cozy box bed and kitchenette. Enjoy the sounds of birds, playful squirrels and all the greenery around you. Bicycle and hiking trails nearby. In summer, Breda can also be reached by bicycle ferry. The cities of Dordrecht and Den Bosch are 30 minutes away (by car).

Breda, the forests, the Biesbosch National Park and many amenities such as a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

B&B Ut Hoeveneind, your own cottage in nature

Our cottage is prewar, but completely refurbished into a modern, warm and cozy Bed & Breakfast. Where the toilet used to be outside in the garden and the bedstede in the middle of living room, you no longer have to leave the cottage for shower and toilet. Inside, it's cozy because of the warm decor and the atmospheric wood pellet stove. In the evening, after a day, there are waves, sauna or hiking by the fireplace while enjoying a drink. Good wifi for working too.

Cozy and private studio, 4.5 km from centre

Nice room with your own bathroom with shower and toilet. There's no real kitchen but there is a fridge and combination microwave. You have your own entrance and behind the room is a large public grass field you can use as your garden. After a 3-minute walk, you'll reach a few shops and the bus stop, from there the bus takes you in 22 minutes to the central station. Bicycles are not available anymore. Parking in the neighborhood is free and there's enough space.

You will find cozy terraces and restaurants and also the supermarket is close.
