Monthly Rentals in Þjórsárdalur

The location was perfect for visiting local sites. A cozy cottage with everything we needed to cook a hot breakfast. Host let us check in early which was much appreciated.

Looks exactly like the pictures. Very private place in a beautiful setting. The host even gifted us a small treat, which was great!

The cabin is in a very peaceful and quiet location, with good paved roads for nearly the entire way from route 1. The interior is very pretty, but a bit tight on space for 3 adults. We were there only one night, which was fine, but it might have begun to feel a bit cramped for more time than that. The amenities are wonderful, with a fun outdoor shower at the cabin itself, and then a separate shower and sauna in the nearby sauna cabin. We are very glad we stayed here.

Very nice airbnb for our one night in town. It looked just like the photos and was very clean. You can see the owners home from the porch, but it’s far enough away where we never felt like they were even there. I would stay here again!
