Our country cottage has been completely renovated into a beautiful and stylish home. It is situated in an idyllic setting overlooking a stream in the North Yorkshire countryside, 4 miles from the small market town of Malton. This is an extremely peaceful place, entirely surrounded by fields. The cottage is semi-detached with a quiet neighbour. The cottage accommodates 4 adults, a child and a baby, in 3 upstairs bedrooms: 1 (king) double, 1 with two singles, 1 with smaller bed and travel cot.

Luxury Escape at an Animal Sanctuary Stay in our beautifully converted container, furnished to 5-star standards and set in the heart of our sanctuary. Be greeted at the gate by our 5 rescued pigs before enjoying the king bedroom, large shower, kitchen, and cozy living area with a sofa bed and TV. High-speed internet keeps you connected, while your private oasis outside features a hot tub, BBQ, and dining area. Perfect for relaxation or a unique retreat surrounded by nature and rescued animals.

The Owlery at Mill Farm

Recently converted, the Owlery is the perfect self-catered rural escape for couples. With its double height vaulted ceiling and full height double aspect windows the open plan kitchen living diner offers a light and airy space to unwind and enjoy the view of surrounding fields. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed, Egyptian cotton sheets and En-Suite shower room. The Bathroom offers complimentary Bramley products and cotton bathrobes. Both areas are underfloor heated. There is a private garden.

Grooms Cottage by Sheriff Hutton Castle, Near York

Grooms Cottage is on a private estate right next to the ruins of Sheriff Hutton Castle. The property is in a peaceful setting but only two minutes walk away from the village pub and post office/general store. Our cottage was completely renovated in 2021 and is in a great location for walkers, cyclists, and explorers. It’s about 10 miles from both York and Malton, Castle Howard is under 6 miles away, and the coast can be reached in under an hour. Grooms Cottage sleeps 4 guests+2 babies +dogs

Forest View - Shepherds Hut & Hot Tub, Near York

The 'Hippie Shack' is a modern Shepherd’s Hut with a private wood-fired hot tub and garden, set in the countryside next to peaceful woodland but only 15 mins from York. Surrounded by local wildlife and our goats, it’s a relaxing escape to reconnect with nature. Explore scenic walks, or visit nearby town Easingwold's pubs, shops, and dining. Discover hidden Yorkshire gems like Yearsley Woods just 10 mins away. Enjoy the site tipi, pond, and barn areas. Unwind, disconnect and get back to nature.

In the rural village of Sheriff Hutton, located just 20 minutes north of York and less than 1 hr from beach. Free parking. Your shepherd's hut is set in the enclosed, inner courtyard of the C14th castle ruins, your own private space. Atmospheric and perfect for relaxing, enjoying a quiet drink in the evening in front of the fire pit & gazing at a starry sky or the impressive ruins. We have 3 other stays, for couples, around the castle available if you would like to visit with friends. No WiFi.

Unwind in our stunning 2 bed barn conversion with its high beamed ceilings and bright and airy open plan living space, all fitted out to a high standard. The property is situated on our working farm in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, 2 miles from Malton. A perfect base for biking , walking or visiting the North Yorkshire moors , East coast or York. There are lots of local village pubs within 2.5 miles of us where you can go for a drink or meal or even visit the food capital of Malton

"The Sty" offers a cosy, but spacious barn with original beams, underfloor heating, a 3 seater hot tub and countryside views. Special touches make your stay a little different to elsewhere...a king size bed with luxurious bedding, robes and slippers, Netflix and Nespresso, the option to have a bath and shower to name a few. Following a day seeing the sites of York, a daytrip for some sea air, or exploring our beautiful towns and countryside, guests will look forward to retreating to the Sty.

The Garden Room

Two renovated old buildings have been converted into a quiet, one bedroom, self contained Garden room. In the centre of Slingsby village, you are well placed to explore the beautiful surrounding areas of Yorkshire. A modern kitchen with fridge, microwave and cooker is equipped for preparing delicious meals. A wall mounted television with Netflix is available. The sleeping area hosts a double bed with wall hanging for clothes, adjacent to which is a bright shower room with heated towel rail.

Snowdrop Cottage can be found in the heart of the picturesque village of Welburn which is surrounded by the Howardian Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and within a few minutes of the iconic Castle Howard and 20-minutes from the historic city of York. This luxury, boutique cottage with private hot tub, log burner and four poster king-size bed, is just the perfect getaway for anyone looking to spoil themselves whilst enjoying this beautiful part of the North Yorkshire countryside.

The Perch is a special place - in a peaceful village in the beautiful Derwent Valley, it is a 'one of a kind' cottage which has been designed with care to offer discerning guests a unique place to unwind and relax. Visitors to this corner of North Yorkshire can expect unspoilt landscapes close to Malton, the 'food capital of the north' but off the beaten tourist path. Enjoy a fabulous walk right outside the door, and come home to a cosy log fire - perfect for both dogs and their humans!

You'll arrive to find the lakeside sauna and copper bath on the deck and secret nooks around the edge of the woods where you can watch the sunset and the stars in front of the fire pit.
